Mangum ATP highlights? Tough to pick just 3. Boredoms (14 guitarists, 5 drummers + EYE) for sure, especially the second show, Joanna Newsom who played solo two completely different sets also for sure. The third one, let's say it was Scratch Acid, I've never seen them before. But in general most of the gigs I saw were great, it was very intense and nicely balanced festival. Never :( I was going to see them when they curated atp, but my visa didnt come out in time. I tried to go to canada when they were playing 4 shows in 3 days, but they rejected by visa application. I tried to see them in paris, but visa got rejected. Now I'm missing them again cause my visa hasnt been processed yet. They are my fav band in the world and I dont think I'll ever get to experience them live. I'm so fucking sad right now. stupid fucking passport.

el termono shoegazer en realidad fue un término peyorativo que inventó la prensa inglesa porque las bandas parecian miserables.No se, a mi me gusta.Hay cosas de aquel rollo que siguen sonando guay, como el Split de Lush (o casi todo lo que hicieron).Los mismos Ride me chirrian un poco a veces. suenan un poco a lata.Curiosamente su ultimo disco (alejado del shoegaze) es de lo que mejor suena, aunque vapourtrail, close my eyes o cool your boots son temazos.De aquel rollo lo mejor fueron los padrinos del género (o padres putativos):Galaxie 500. Life esta mas o menos porque no me gusta la casa donde estoy (es otra) y estoy un poco a disgusto.Muchos cambios, la verdad,pero bueno, no me puedo quejar, y tu? superocupada, supongo?

hombre, Lush son 10 veces mas grupo que Curve de aquí a Lima...en todos los sentidos.Les conocí en un concierto en madrid, fui muy fan.Sobre todo su disco "Split" es una obra de arte.El batería se suicidó tras el ultimo disco...Por cierto, Nowhere de Ride fue uno de mis discos favoritos.Tengo uno de sus cds firmado por el batería..;)
