hey man, i just joined that (dead) michio kurihara group and saw your post. don't know if you know or still care, but he uses a '68 gibson SG according to every interview i've ever read. it looks like a maestro tremolo (google "maestro tremolo" and you'll see a thousand gibsons with the same style). wiki says "With Boris, Kurihara uses vintage Greco clone of a Gibson SG guitar with Bigsby Vibrato bar"... but that tremolo doesn't look like a bigsby at all.

the album was mostly mediocre i'd say, but some songs were good. his voice sounds a bit deeper on it. i liked it a bit more than hearing him live i think.
