Thing being I couldn't get used to it, lol. I've tried 7 strings from ESP, Schecter, and various other brands, but none of them felt right you know? It's that instinctive thing, you pick up a guitar and you know whether it's right or not, and unfortunately the Loomis neck just caused my hand to cramp like any other thick neck I've played. What pickups do you have in yours? still stock?

It's an amazing guitar, I'd own one but I get hand cramps playing thick necks, so I've got an Ibanez RG 7421, which admittedly doesn't sound as good as the Loomis, but the neck is suitable for my hands and they play extremely well for a mid range guitar. Wish my fingers were as huge as Loomis's fingers:(
