My ipod hasn't been been scrobbling lately. I've had the new Ulver on repeat at work. I WANT THOSE 500 SCROBBLES GODDAMNIT.

That, and the second split with Wheels Within Wheels. The Panopticon tracks are fucking gorgeous.

Yeah, well it worked on me at least. First piece of music I've bought in over a year haha. Also, you should get the new Panopticon album. I see you've listened to a bit of his work, but the Social Disservices is probably the best I've heard from him.

If everything goes to plan, it'll be out in June. They put Part A up for sale so they could make the money to release the full album.

Oh, i meant the whole track, as it's the first half of the full song. It's all fucking sensational. Seriously can't wait to hear part b.

Not being able to scrobble for a year would have frustrated me to no end. You sir, must have the patience of a saint.

p.s. I'm worried about the lack of The Angelic Process in your library. This must be amended immediately.

I see you're digging Carissa's Wierd since discovering them? Nicely done. Songs About Leaving is amazing.

The only bad thing about the new Ulver album is the fact it stops me from listening to the AMDBL album.

Yeah, Dead Can Dance, I am a big fan. I wish they were born 20 years later so I didn't have to listen to 1980s recording and production of the music though. I'm not sure what I think of post- bands any more, it seems to be what you call a band that spends a whole song playing one riff slightly louder every repeat. I think a style of music that relies so strongly on generally a single repeated fragment over which some effecty lead instruments play should have much stronger melody, but then a lot of Isis & Co is a boring alternation between two chords. That said, So Did We is one of my favourite tracks ever, despite fitting my description pretty neatly. Generally I think this style of music is out of the question for me because of my absurdly low tolerance for repetition. I still listen to Cult of Luna pretty regularly strangely enough. Anyway that genre-criticism forms my review of the linked Red Sparrowes track, or more, a criticism of my ability to listen to it.

Yeah I get the impression they don't play live too often. They're too good for that, I suppose. =P

Oh right...yeah it is weird. I would get lost there if it wasn't for my friend haha. Although, last time I went to Melbourne I wasn't too fond of the trams there. =P
