Neat remix. Definitely more raw and stripped down than stuff I've heard by you before. If all you know of Can is Tago Mago, you should definitely hear some more albums before you dig into The Lost Tapes (which is a bit patchy). Try Ege Bamyasi and Future Days and maybe Soundtracks.

I really enjoyed the EP. Very understated and beautiful. Obviously you put a lot of work into it but it never sounds fussy or fussed over.

Hehe no worries, I (thankfully) know what it's like to be a student. Thanks for the link but I decided to buy it on CD from eBay. Only downside is I'll now have to wait a couple of days for it to be shipped from the UK. :P They were very convincing live, although there wasn't much interaction with the crowd you could sense the urgency in their music. They really were a completely unpretentious team and this little lady at the drums looked furious, each of her hits felt like a punch in the face. :) I take it they have yet to tour the UK, given you haven't seen them live? Oh wait, I somehow concluded you're actually British, which might as well be wrong. ^^ Anyway, I can obviously recommend seeing them live.

Hi there sir, I read your shout on the Pinkunoizu page and I am wondering where to buy their music. Their site doesn't really seem to link anywhere, nor does their bandcamp. :( I saw them live last Monday, supporting Neon Indian and I'm willing to buy their music rather than download it in some obscure way but they're not making things very easy for me. :P Please let me know if you can tell me more. :)

Yes, the links are permanent but you might want to take note of the proposed release schedule. Also, I should mention that the first volume just when online and it features an absolutely amazing mix by Kranky recording artist Loscil. http://csaf-records.com/2011-12s/

Yeah Scala was absolutely awesome (the real one)! I'm sorry I took more than a year to reply to your shout but life and living without internet got in the way of last.fm. That said, what do you think about the new Seefeel?

Thought you might be interested in the new mixtape by Buddy Peace. This is a mix of broken hearts and block parties, unfaithful guitars and dusty drums. In just under an hour Buddy mixes slivers of over 100 post-rock, hip-hop, folk, indie rock and electronic gems. You can buy it from http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=96145 or check out clips here http://www.last.fm/label/2600+Recordings/
