They're pretty cool live. Not the kind of band you'd jump around to, but that should be expected. Do you ever find yourself spontaneously dancing to them when you listen to an album. I do find Ben Gibbard's terrible haircut pretty distracting, but other than that I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

The presets sound like aids? Well they do describe their music as music for the end of the world. I think they are brilliant. The future of music. So glad electronic has finally taken off in OZ! :D

Hey thanks for the comment. To be honest I cant remember what I typed. But it was probably something like “I hate him”. Um, I just think he is really pretentious. And I think that whole folk, anti-folk, electro-folk movement is just really lame to be honest. I liked the arcade fire for a long time, and I still do, their lyrics and music are so dark and thought provoking. But above that, their music also has a pulse. Artists like Goyte just don’t do it for me. I can admire multi-instrumentalists and producers. But I just really don’t like seeing him on jtv before rage playing a different instrument for each song. Its as if he is silently saying “look how amazing I am!”. Its not so much that his music doesn’t grab me, hearts a mess is a great song. I just don’t like the movement. Like you might not really like emo’s or people who wear rave pants and take $200 worth of drugs on a night out. And good songs come out of those movements as well on occasion.

You know you're about the third or 4th person I know who has missed out on tickets. Damn! Got to get in early I guess. I've seen them before (at Splendour) and they were pretty awesome. Apparently they're even better in their own show. I'll keep you posted :)

I admit, I hadn't listened to the mix done by your brother until recently. I found it hard to get into mixed blood because I loved the original versions so much. It is a really good take on it though! Sounds like you had an awesome time playing with Wally, I wish I had some form of musical talent so I could have that kind of opportunity.
