http://www.superpoop.com/051010/wutang-pizza.jpg saw this and thought of you. for some reason i haven't been getting emails for last fm shouts so haven't seen your last few messages. our compatibility has changed from 'very high', which its been ever since i remember, to 'super'. wonder what's changed? i'm not too into them but i thought you might like this celeste http://www.myspace.com/unhiverdeplus. there's a rangda track on myspace (that ben chasny/chris corsano/richard bishop supergroup playing at atp), sounds fairly conventional for them but i can see it being a good live show. that neurosis note sounds exactly like the MBV 'you made me realise' moment in live shows. i think i mentioned it to you before, but i'm really into sightings' city of straw. give it a try. still no more announcements for supersonic...

http://www.myspace.com/triariiheadquarters this shit is batshit. i couldn't even concentrate long enough to hear what they were saying. i've seen it described as 'martial industrial' music. i...i don't think i like it at all, but i thought it might appeal to your cheese metal side. why the new t-number? enjoy mastadon on tues x

hey man. hows it going? i checked out menace ruine. i liked aspects of it, but there were some bits of it i wasn't too sure about. however, i plan to give them another go. have you heard of fall of efrafa? they're an amazing british band, they play heavy, slow harcore/post rock/metal, kinda like neurosis/isis, and it is phenomenal. they made a trilogy of albums based around the watership down books. they're all available on their website for free. i recommend 'elil'. their music is so heartfelt and passionate. let me know what you think. hope yr alright...x

Yea I thought it got a bit samey, although I guess with more listens it would get more interesting - but I think I was expecting something slightly different so I was put off straight away. That ringtone thing is great. Surely that level of ingeniousness makes them automatically rise above the yob label? Saw oli yesterday, think me and a might be heading back for the shortest and bluest of quizzes this coming Monday, so make sure you're about.

'All he way' is supposed to say 'All the way' but I didn't see it before my screen finished typing, and 'trak' is obviously supposed to be 'track', because we were born in the late eighties and not in the early nineties. Maybe my computer hasn't got slower: it just can't keep up with my LIGHTNING WIT.

Dear Tom: I am looking forward to the beer. P.S.- If you liked the 'All he Way' style Growing, you might like the new Fuck Buttons album? I really like one trak, and am fairly ambivalent towards the rest. They don't seem to have grown much, but everyone seems to be saying that it is a massive step forward. I don't really see it, but it's definitely fun to walk to/drive to, etc. P. P. S. - my graphics card has completely died on me, I think it was my fault, but now I'm living with a dot box around my mouse and an increddddddddibly slow framerate after working out some kind of mod driver legacy shit. But it is a massive improvement on what felt like an infinite amount of illegible lines running down my screen, even in safe mode/drivers uninstalled. Letters don't appear for a good 20 seconds after I type them. I imagine this is what the neanderthals felt like when their sticks broke.

I completely forgot about the beerfest, or I thought it wasn't coming up yet for some reason. Bugger. Ok, so - i'm working 2-9.45 on the wednesday, and every day this week apart from friday. So. I should probably say no, but I'm going to say yes and we have to get there early times, like opening times, so that we can get a good couple hours before I have to go to work. And then i should probably have a slice of deli pizza or something before work at 2. What do you say? Btw, did you ever get your steering attachment back?

Ever heard of Bloody Panda? YOU HAVE NOW. You might like them, remind me a little of Wolves/Throne Room, but not so fast and with more female. That greymachine album was dissapointing, what did you think?

Got me through the early hours of another chapter draft. Did you hear about the health and deerhunter gig at the koko? Oli told me about it. It's mid-handing-in-dissertation-point, but I'm thinking about it...

Jobseekers is chic. My dad signed on the other day, to support his gardening business. I think he underestimates the persistence of the seekers to actually find him a job. Ha, I think the neck lick was as simple as a neck lick. I can't remember if I made contact, it was in Caribou. Seemed like a good idea at the time. We should make a double-can-time route through norwich.

haven't got it yet, I keep forgetting too - been in a pregnant storm over the past week and a half, trying to shove out my first diss chapter. But i've sent it in now, so i'll get tickets some time this week I think, straight from the source. It says Sophia are supporting - I had some sophia stuff aaaaaages ago, and if its the same band they might be quite good. Had another dream about sunn - they released an album with ben chasny (from six organs) reading poetry over the top. It was pretty sweet. I'll still have to let you know about tischtennis on Friday, I think it depends on how Rachel takes this chapter. We've still gotta do that top ten thing - I found a fucking awesome (will it let me swear on here?) ambient drone record the other day by Birchville Cat Motel called Chi Vampires. I've got more of his stuff, some if it is really good, but this thing is something else. Ends weirdly with a big chugging guitar thing, too. This thing is like facebook for dissidents. 1000 Characters.

Since you're a Swans fan, you might want to check out the Skin page and help 'our cause' by voting up the Swans Skin pics, and down the Skunk Skin pics. There are some abusive comments being made against Swans fans, which I don’t like, because I am one :) Also, with Skin in your library, tag it with the same tags as Swans etc to get better similar artists, we Swans fans should support our artist's identity in all its guises… I think… ;)

Yeah I've not heard much other stuff by them, but I was recommended them by the ron not so long ago and wasn't impressed, but this album seems to be more accessible to my ears. If you're gonna trip up to Leeds to see them, you're welcome to stay at mine, and in fact I may go to the gig with you, one of my house mates is into them, so he may come too. x
