Hey Tom, your mixtape is on the forum. Enjoy...

In terms of join date, song plays, total number of artists, and friend count, we are brothers.

how fucking good was Yo La Tengo! Pains is going to kill it

your avatar is beautiful. but somewhat creepy...

sup yo

Though I do have kind of a lot of GBV plays, those are actually the only two albums I've heard, sorry.

last night was the raddest

Do you want to make friends?

Are you on Sony's Fantasy Festival yet? http://fantasyfestival.last.fm/invite/?key=072a204f99cded56b74ad3978075ad6a&r=Tom_Meade

re: your description of pornography, i think that might be what puts me off about it, ultimately. the stereotypitiy of it. also just that that much despair in one go is hard to handle. but i was listening to pornography after i posted that and man, it is a great album. definitely get faith though. faith is so good. also re: me knowing exactly what i am talking about i can say only ;D

oh, faith definitely. pornography is also a good option, but it kinda tips the scales from gloomy to full-out OH MY GOD I AM SO DEPRESSED WHY AM I NOT DEAD OH JESUS GOD

BOO HI TOM!!!

Hey, how is your 1001 albums project doing? I sometimes check your blog, but nothing new occurs since The Sonics (on which I totally agree with your review btw). Lost the courage? ;)

cool, I'm happy to hear it clicked. I'm curious though, how long did it take? I was down with dolphy after the first listen. If you want any of his other stuff just ask, I've got an awesome live set he did at the five spot with Booker Little

One mixtape coming up. I don't fancy either theme though - hope this would be OK with you.

the link doesn't work on the profile; you'll have to message it. i'll send yours shortly! thanks

if you want a tracklist you'll have to describe everything to me because I don't remember all the stuff I put on there. Or if you want any of the songs in mp3 let me know.

LISTEN TO MY MIXTAPE ALREADY

OK, well, I have been out of town so I actually forgot about the mixtape (sorry), but if I get yours the 8th of May, then maybe I have thought something up for then as well:)

and dance till you feel better! did you know i forgot about last.fm for about three months. thanks for the reminder :)

hey there. you're right we have some excellent bands in common !

Sounds nice! I will try to make my mix as soon as possible, since I probably will forget it otherwise ;) If you feel like you could always remind me ^^

Hey, thanks for your comments on my journals! I don't understand your love for The Incredible String Band, but I guess I'm not cool enough for that ;) Glad to see you updated your blog again! (And by the way, I just bought Otis Redding Live in Paris and London, it can compete with Sam Cooke's album)

Indeed we are. I'm racking my brain for tunes that my parents played when I was a kid. Hopefully I'll remember the good ones.

hello, i like your top artists

i have yet to find a tabber with more than a low compatibility with myself. you are no exception. But i like at least 10 of your top artists.

To be fair, neither of them are in my top artists??? Your top artists are all great, though.

My notary is handling all the appropriate forms, just for the records.

indeed, tricky one this

assignments killing me.

Hey, thanks for the recommendation I will be sure to check them out. Me laugh... never haha, I'm always looking for new music to check out. I will let you know what I think!

Thanks for giving me the link to your website: it is always nice to read other people's opinions... Although I have to admit that your reviews are much better written than mine, haha. They are really good! (I don't agree with you on Billie Holiday however, but tastes can't be discussed right?)

capsized, erring on the edge of safe *sings*

Hi Thomas, somehow I'm a bit late for this month, because I was so busy at work. I'm totally sorry! Nevertheless it would be a pleasure for me to put together a Kettel best of mix, maybe with some other artists inbetween. Well if its not too late for you, i would be very interested in a mix of maybe Decoder Ring, The Kleptones or Charles Mingus..or any other of your favourite artists. Most of them I don't know at all or at least not too well.

I'm sort of done with this month's mixtapes, but if you'd be interested, I'm putting together "The Definite Nick Cave", because it's the mix I really wanted to do this month, but didn't get to...

I'll bite on that offer of a mix: How about a Slowdive/Yo La Tengo split?

also, im starting to like pj harvey
