Damn that's awesome! Lucky you Lol I've been wanting to look into other genres lately I'll probably start with more progressive bands. I think I have some in my library but not much I think. Have any recommendations for little 'ol me? ;)

Haha ok I didn't know that. Melodic death metal is actually my favorite genre and true about The Absence they definitely stand out to me I just recently started listening to them and wow I was totally missing out this whole time! It's not too often when I get so infatuated over a band.

I was gonna say The Absence but I saw you already beat me to it haha. I'm so heavily into their From Your Grave album. Luna Mortis is a pretty good one, unfortunately they only have one album that I know of. I'm a little shocked I didn't see Disarmonia Mundi in your library, they have a plethora of addicting songs :) I've also grown to like Universum, they have 2 albums out but I sorta prefer their debut album better but their 2nd one is still cool.

yea I like to get into other genres that aren't metal too.

oh well first I was listening to bands like AC/DC, Journey, rush, and Pearl Jam etc. I really just got a feel of the older bands, because alot of bands get their inspiration from bands you wouldn't believe, like graveworm has to R.E.M which is pretty kewl. so initially I really wanted to explore many genres because I can never get enough of metal.
