U like the country blues and cold wave ehh? To think i once neglect country and blues once. As for where to start with keiichiro shibu, try For Maria his more well known Neo-classical stuff and ATAK019 Soundtrack for Children who won't die, Shusaku Arakawa for his more glitch based stuff. My personal favorite album of his is The END, but it is technically a vocaloid album with glitch and electroacoustic song writing, so not really reccomend as a start. Also check out his soundtrack work https://www.discogs.com/Keiichiro-Shibuya-VA-Sacrifice-Soundtrack-For-Seiji-Fish-On-Land/release/4806615 although produced by him there is a other artist in the mix as where, the soundtrack is comprice of ambient glitch like soundscape and lowkey neo classical.

Well most noise or EAI compilation tends to be unmemorable cause the whole point is to explore, if you like one artist continue there and so forth. Cause they have to sacrifice consistency for variety. But, imo the chinese antholgy still kinda lose to Improvised Music From Japan in term of uniqueness.

I blind listen to most of them lol exploring the deepest side of RYM could either found a gem or just Ehh stuff, and sometimes you could get lucky on youtube. I found the chinese anthology from a video on youtube when i was exploring a chinese band. Blogspot and music news site also helps.

That should gibe you some variety.

Okay let's see. HK by Hong Kong Express is amazing and has a lot of OPN's vibe to it. Simon Scott solo work is brilliant and I have been obsessing over it lately you could start with Navigare. Evan Caminiti's work is quiet impressive. ANOXIA by L A N D is a 2015's album, very refreshing. Living on Superstition by James Place is great and underrated. Howl by Rival Consoles is one of 2015's best!

Next level Death Grips is what im expecting right now :P like how Death Grips 2.0 sounded a little bit.. Even more louder. I hope it's like Exmilitary, but i don't really care. So far i like everything they made. Wbu?
