My Life's Musical Fingerprint
Ever wonder what it would be like to give a stranger or a friend a playlist instead of a handshake? Or before judging someone, you could actually go through their playlist before you actually meet them? This is the premise in which I created this playlist. I firmly believe that a person's music preference can tell a lot about him or her as an individual. As such, I went through various charts that outlined the hit singles from the year I was born to the present. In short, I could not use the same artist more than once for the entire playlist. I understand that it's next to impossible to pick only one song per year, but I used this guideline: If I had to go somewhere (that was not an emergency) :-) and a song would be playing, would I sit and listen to it before leaving? These are songs that I would definitely do precisely that. Also, since 2007 has not officially ended, I added the song that I think could easily make this year's list.
