Hello!

:O

Do you know [url=http://soundcloud.com/malukah]malukah[/url]?

hi :))

Passing by and saying hello! :)

KGRL is gone. :(

Thanks for accepting!

You might know that Charlotte Martin has a broken rib, maybe you wanna add a greet: http://www.groupcard.com/c/r-tYTtc05T6

Did you check out Nerina Pallot's new album?

I was at the German iTunes 00:01AM sharp but no new Brooke Waggoner in sight. :(

[artist]Catlow[/artist]'s Kiss the World, and [artist]Jess Klein[/artist]'s Bound to Love. I left off the artists from KGRL's last NMM. As also did I enjoy to listen to some male artists like the [artist]Monsters Of Folk[/artist] (awesome!), [artist]bauer[/artist] (actually 'bauer', a British rock band) whose s/t EP is awesome but sadly totally out of stock, [artist]Jack Savoretti[/artist]'s Between the Minds, [artist]Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros[/artist]'s Up from Below (very uplifting), and [artist]dan walker + the sky[/artist]'s Night Owl.

My new acquired album of this weekend are [artist]Meaghan Smith[/artist]'s The Cricket's Quartet, [artist]Summer Ames[/artist]' debut EP (awesome!), [artist]Birdpaula[/artist]'s s/t, [artist]Brooke Brown Saracino[/artist]'s Treading Water, all of [artist]Courtney Jones[/artist], [artist]Molly Bancroft[/artist]'s Red Dirt Diaries, [artist]Stephanie Lang[/artist]'s ([artist]Stef Lang[/artist]) Birth, [artist]Alela Diane featuring Alina Hardin[/artist]'s Alela & Alina, ...

Enqueued now! After an awesome weekend filled with new music discoveries I made it to put the second half of your epic mixtape on top of my iTunes DJ. It will take awhile to investigate all the awesome artists and albums, it's a confusing genre for a video game newbie. :)

Sorry for responding so late. Thanks for sharing the 2nd half of the mixtape. As I was so busy purchasing new music (my poor credit card bear it's burden but resolutely complains) that I didn't yet listen to the rest of the list. Looking forward to do that tomorrow. :)

A mixtape will be fine and the journal articles are the way how we make them public. I use my nearly 30 years old programmers editor to format bbcode from the iTunes playlists. Give me any list of songs and I make a journal out of it (look at my profile, 200 articles! *lol*).

That is a complicated issue! I guess you can't ignore any of them: the composer, the producer, the musicians. As I came into classical music I learned how wrong the tagging of Mozart, Beethoven etc. as the artist actually is. The conductor, the orchestra and the solo performers are interpreting the original composition and at last do they define the quality of the recording as also as the composer does. I learned to love composers that I never recognized because someone recommended my specific recordings.

Correction: [artist]Natasha Farrow[/artist], mentioned as video game artist, is this the vocalist?

Hehe, that is an interesting playground... because I'm not aware if I know any music from video games. I'm a totally green regarding video games. I spent all my life ...ehm... half of my life working with computers during work time and after work but I never played video games, not even computer games if we ignore a few hours I spent with Tetris. LOL The song on youtube is quite nice. Am I finally blind or wasn't mentioned who performs this? :O

They are very annoying, they become sticky and you never get rid of them. Pls vote for auto-correcting &->AND

I saw it! The cover says '&' but the name on Amiestreet as also on myspace is with AND.

Awesome! [artist]Shannon hurley[/artist] tweets: Just released the debut [artist]Lovers & Poets[/artist] track on Amie Street: http://bit.ly/hkCOT ...still for FREE!

Heheh, isn't nearly all what Joe Satriani does a long instrumental solo? I love bands like Little Feat or The E Street Band performing solos of different members and quite different instruments. Beneath my addiction for piano and (naturally) guitar I love the sound of the saxophone.

Springsteen is part of the soundtrack of my life, starting with his 1st 45RPMs but I became addicted very late when I got the DVD of his 2001 concert in New York. The E Street Band performed their hearts out! Long song version with lots of instrumental solos made me a fan.

I nearly missed Bruce Springsteens 60th B-day today. Now he rocks me and my neighbors evening. :)

The one and only AFF cover: http://www.last.fm/music/A+Fine+Frenzy/One+Cell+In+The+Sea/+images/3594157

Hello new friend:) I see you like AFF too. Her new album is one of the best albums of this year, don't you think?

Hmm, last.fm occasionally logs me out since Saturday. Maybe a hint to go to bed now before the sun rises here. :) cya later.

If you browse my journal you'll find out that I'm a sucker of the "Hotel Cafe" artists. This venue in LA has the best indie artists in the US on it's stage.

I'm a good spy! During the last hour did I enviously read the talk about the concerts that the guys at KGRL's flowerbox will attend. My [artist]Marit Larsen[/artist] show has been canceled! Boohoo! She's so cute. ;)

Hehehe, I love the recently listened tracks. I'm not such organized but I occasionally spy the pages of my friends for new discoveries.

Do you like [artist]Ingrid Michaelson[/artist]? I got the acoustic demo version of her new album today (it's a bonus disc). As I'm an acoustic freak, a lover of the pure voices, did this enjoy me very much.

I love [artist]Halima[/artist]'s Beneath the Sun, kinda mysterious album: there is no info about the singer or the band and it's just one album available. I like this kind of folk-pop-electro sound.

I grabbed some albums from my wishlist from eMusic today, I need to be up-to-date before KGRL streams the next NMM. ;)

Well, I'll definitely look for more of [artist]Vox Vermillion[/artist], Standing Still You Move Forward and also Queen of the Valley are rescheduled for more listening.

I listened with delight to [artist]Vox Vermillion[/artist] and the [artist]Sierra Swan[/artist] album. I added [album artist=diablo string orchestra]The Butcher's Ballroom[/album] to my library but hadn't the mood yet for this kinda music. ;)

Hey new friend! If you liked my recommendation of [artist]Brandi Shearer[/artist] you should also listen to [artist]The Heather Combs Band[/artist], [artist]Heather Combs Band[/artist], [artist]Heather Combs[/artist]. I just discovered her because [artist]Keri Noble[/artist] mentioned her on myspace.

Lemme know what you think. I personally canNOT get over the older Dance Anthem, as much as I do like the new one. :)

Ah that's great! :) I'm glad you like 'em. Yes, Dance Anthem has been one of my favourite songs for such a long time. Uploading now. What's your email addy?

I was on the train on your big day and didn't have any way to contact you. :( Belated happy birthday! Did you celebrate? and you listened to Regina! The new album? Thoughts?

Somehow there never is with you. What're you up to? Still studying? Which year?

Yup, only for a month or so since I'm home for the first time in a year with nothing to do. How're you? What've you been up to?

Yellow! :)

oh goodness no, i'm nowhere near that talented. it's by an artist named dan mumford. he has some similar works which are also great. & i've noticed brooke on your charts and was thinking about checking her out. anything in particular i should look for?

Oh, will do, definitely!

Okay, thanks!

Sarah Blasko and Natalie Walker? Yes. But, though I've heard of most of the others, I'm not really familiar with them, with the exception of Sierra Swan (I purchased the Dollshead album years ago, but I never paid any attention to her solo career, as I don't have any interest in major label music anymore. However, it appears she's indie now? If that's the case, I might check her out, eventually.). Thanks!

Actually, I'm quite familiar with Brooke, as I have both Heal For The Honey, as well as the Fresh Pair Of Eyes EP in my collection. I just don't have her work on my PC at the moment, hence the fact that there's only one track in my last.fm library.

Thanks! 'Tis of my beloved Xena & Gabrielle. :) Every once in a while, I get the urge to change my paranoia level to 0 simply because I like to see my recent snatches displayed on my profile. Heh.

Re: the shout you left in July of '08 (My apologies for the horrid delay!), thanks! Yeah, I remember you from OiNK, too. *sigh* what.cd and Waffles are great, but I miss OiNK terribly.

Hi new neighbor, there is a [group]Erin McCarley[/group] group. Care to join? :)
