Just wanted to say... what you and Ms. Cacciola did recreating the iconic Prisoner opening sequence... that was as inspired as it was epic. The album you two made to pay tribute to the series - similarly epic. Thank you! You both rock.

Congratulations on obtaining this ">10.9k artists played" milestone :-) ... I saw you in the "Discovery Leaderboard" section (August 7-13), you are at #2 place there (I am in the Scrobble LB): last DOT fm/user/shiverspt/listening-report/week ... How are you doing on your spot of the Earth at the moment? I guess you and your family too avoid public crowds recently in this worldwide here in Germany ... Take care of yourself (and let's clean hands very regularly) - and proceed playing music very clamantly meanwhile, Michael

I think I'm a bit particular when it comes to writing songs. I'm not the sort of person who sings about emotions and all that business. I like to write stories, and write songs around them. But, it's getting an idea. My last one was about a New York 1920's mobster called Sonny Gritts. Then I wrote a couple of songs about a prostitute called Sally. I need to get away from the letter S. That, or get sponsorship from Sesame Street. I would like to do a covers album, that could be fun :3

Hola, Michael! Hope all is well. Just thought I would let you know, I recently became the proud owner of a luthier handbuilt ukulele. It's luuuurvely. Now to write a second EP, and use it to record with. Why is songwriting so damned hard. It's be much easier if I could just get someone to do to the hard work for me :(

If you're the real Michael J. Epstein then you should know that I work at an independent record store and I play Volume One in-store quite often

When I heard about you guys, Neutral Uke Hotel first, sometime last year, I wanted to see you, I think that it was around the time that I found out that Sign The Dotted Line had been recorded, and I was super antsy for a Jeff Mangum return. Somehow it worked out that you'll be in Chicago the week that I am. I look forward to it. Re-learning some of the more hard lyrics as we speak.

I really wish I could make it to the Neutral Uke Hotel show in Boston, but my school's annual student lit/art magazine's release party is that night and I'm on the editorial staff. I hope you guys have a great show! Enjoy Boston!
