Aw yeah, Rydell are an amazing but sadly unappreciated English band, active in the early 2000s. I found them a long time ago actually but only recently downloaded all their stuff and it's all worth listeming to. Kinda reminds me of a mixture of Split Lip/Chamberlain and Hot Water Music but with its own sound. Great vocals too!

yeah, actually they remind me of the same mixture plus maybe a little boilermaker and lifetime!.... btw split lip (and chamberlain ofc) are fucking OG, they are genious stuff... maybe the most unappreciated emo(-adjacent) band along with Vitrious Humour (I rec them to you if you haven't listened to this wonderful band yet!), Ethel Meserve and Garden Variety...

thoughts of ionesco is pretty cool too, but i have to give them some more listens, i guess they're a grower for me! a lot of bands were like that with me, glassjaw for example i couldn't really listen in the beginning but now they're like one of my top fav post-hardcore/screamo/alternative bands!
