It doesn't matter what record company released it. It's not a Metallica album, it's a collaboration but like I said - it's more a Lou Reed album anyway. I'm gonna buy "Beyond Magnetic" on CD today or tomorrow as it's already available :].

"The Black Album" is a masterpiece in like every way. In a recent interview Lars and Kirk said that the new album is going to be like a heavier "Black Album" what got me excited as hell :D. Because "Death Magnetic" was more like "...And Justice For All" - long songs and stuff. What I mean with singing is that James used more feeling to it and focused more on it. I love "Kill 'Em All" James too but his voice on "The Black Album" is raw, yet melodic. Yeah I hate those kind of people too :/. I love this album and I'm not gonna change my opinion, I'm all for it. And it's more a Lou Reed album actually so I can't understand when people say it's a Metallica album... That's an absurd. For me Lou Reed's voice fits very well to the songs and album theme.

Metallica is my favorite band and passion of my life. Because of them I discovered all the other bands, word. Lars is a NWOBHM maniac, I think he knows all the obscure bands too. A real expert! My favorite one? Hard to say because I love all their albums but I'd probably go with "The Black Album". It's perfect in every way and the sound on it, the production is just brilliant. Also the fact James really started singing, you know what I mean. As for "Lulu", I'm totally in love with it and I find it really fascinating. The best album of the last year without a doubt for me. Yes, Diamond Head is a great and very underrated band. Thanks to mighty Metallica most of the people on this planet (including myself) have heard of 'em. Yes I do like New Wave Of British Heavy Metal a lot. Cheers man! \m/ :)
