Hmm... you just plug it in and the last.fm software should ask you if you want to scrobble tracks from your iPod and it shows the list of tracks and play count... It has nothing to do with your iPod, silly goose. You just need the newest version of last.fm, I guess. Have you downloaded any updates recently? If not, go to System Preferences (which you should find in the dock) and the click software updates.

You'll just have to try harder to catch up. =P
