We play symphonic metal, with influences of power metal, etc., and with influences from bands like Nightwish, Sabaton, Epica, etc.. They NEED to play And We Run that's for sure. SO EPIC. Yeah, I'm going on April 11th in Manchester. Can't wait! Tempted to go to the Birmingham show as well as I'm located directly in the middle of both cities. I really like The Unforgiving - my favourites from that were Lost, Fire and Ice, Iron, and A Demon's Fate.

Personal highlights: Let Us Burn intro, And We Run (ALL OF IT but the intro is amazing), the heavy bit in Edge of the World, Silver Moonlight guitar solo, the bit before the child speaks with the orchestra in Covered by Roses, the end vocals from Sharon in Dog Days when she goes really high, and the whole of Tell Me Why :D

Agreed. I think their sound has matured a lot while sticking to their original roots at the same time. It's more orchestrated than I expected after Dangerous and the demos on the Paradise EP. For me ATM it's probably The Heart of Everything > Mother Earth > Hydra > Unforgiving > TSF. I love all the albums, but that's probably the order for me at the minute. It's definitely my favourite since The Heart of Everything.

So right now I'm getting up, listening to Hydra, going to bed. Getting up, repeat. How you liking it?

I've heard all of Hydra through once and it's brilliant. I didn't hear it in HQ and I was worried at first but with the HQ snippets it's going to be amazing. And We Run, Covered by Roses and Tell Me Why I'm most looking forward to.

To be honest I have heard the whole album ,its what I thought soooo not symphonic ,Im very old fan since mother earth era soooo I feel sooo disappointment about it and about WT 's image and how far they went with it . My problem is that I like the songs but Im not in love with them ,not obsessed Like I was when I heard restless or stand my ground :/

Same here, it was actually the first type of music I ever fell in interested in when I was a kid. Discovered Nightwish with Wishmaster and from there on there have been sooo many amazing artists and bands. And I agree, Floor kicks ass! Amazing woman, so kind and humble. Loved all three ladies of Nw :-) Ah, lucky! I feel bad for Xandria for their lost of Manuela. They were finally getting some attention (maybe for some wrong reasons...*ugh-Tarjasvoice-ugh*), but they did deliver a great symphonic album! Now they have to find a new sound again. Can be a hit or miss
