That is a pretty good cover, a proper 80s type video too :) I just remembered about them as I was browsing my collection and remembered they're pretty damned good! I'm sure you will, having a job definitely helps with the money. I've now booked another, Within Temptation in November :) Hehe, they were awesome, the first time I saw them was near Christmas so I was at a work Christmas party and left half way through to go and see them. Yep, I'm old now though ;) I really started going when I was a similar age to you. We used to get quite a lot of bands at my University. Well I think they were the best gig photos I've ever taken. My friend told me what I was doing wrong and it came down to using a higher ISO setting and managing to keep the camera steady.

I listened to Swans but couldn't get into them :/ I'm not sure what the right word is but I think I'd say they were a little too 'intense' for me. I love Kyuss, I missed seeing them when I was in school and never thought I'd ever see them so I was very happy. It's stoner rock/metal so I'm not sure if you'll like them. Oh no :( Why is that? They haven't cancelled have they? I've seen Nic Endo a couple of times, once as part of Atari Teenage Riot earlier this year and once with Alex Empire a few years ago. I can die happy now as I saw Kyuss last night and they were one band I never thought I'd ever see. I've not heard of Swans I shall go look them up :)

Yep i did :) It's not bad. I actually only have a couple of Mogwai albums but my favourite out of them is Young Team and love the songs Tracy and Mogwai Fear Satan. How about you?

A lot of my friends use it so it's useful for that for me...I've sent you a message with links and stuff anyways. I do indeed. I saw them a couple of years ago at Damnation Festival over here, it was quite a small room and packed full of people but I went and bought their album after that :) Take some earplugs to Mogwai ;)

I forgot to say enjoy Mogwai....I didn't go and see them on this tour but they were fantastic last time around! Very loud :D

Yep that can be annoying at some gigs. You're not allowed to smoke inside venues in the UK so that gets rid of one smell :) Snow! I love snow, we don't get enough here any more :( I know what you mean about 65days, Mogwai are similar like that I think. If you ever need cheering up with music, find some Richard Cheese! Lounge Jazz covers of metal and other songs, some of it's so funny :D

Let me know how you get on with Mike Patton's other stuff, the man is a genious! That really does suck :( I'm sure they'll visit at some point, not that that's any consolation at the moment. Maybe you need to follow them around the world on their next tour and see them on every date to make up!!

No problem, studying is important! So what did you think? They're quite different. They sound quite like Mr Bungle to me. I don't unfortunately, I got as far as a few basic phrases that a friend taught me and I've forgotten most of them :( It is a great blog though, the Japanese have some fantastic hidden treasures :)
