the gig on Sunday in Leicester was good; I ache from jumping up and down too much, I always get carried away, yes It's Flux of Pink Indians & Subhumans for the next one in London, so should be a cracker of a gig, of course I'll say hello to Dick for you :D Yeah been single a year now, I've been happier than I've been in years, sometimes it's nice to spend some time with yourself , focus on your own needs for a while x

By the way, don't know if you like them, but have you heard the My Bloody Valentine cover of Map Ref 41°n 93°w. I got hold of the Wire tribute album recently, but being pretty big into MBV this one struck me. It's on their myspace or was last time I checked, if you're interested.

No problem. I don't know if the gig will have the same sort of vibe, but both times it seemed to start off relatively calm in some capacity, even though they did songs like 'Comet' quite early on. It really seems to build in intensity however, particularly notable when they did 'I Don't Understand', though not just through the choice of set, the friend I was with at the second gig that wasn't at the first seemed to notice this as well. It's a pretty good approach. Enjoy, and let me know how it goes.

I think the Built to Spill/Dino Jr/Meat Puppets show would still be worth going to even if you aren't into BTS. The last time I saw BTS they let the opening band play for like an hour and a half, and in this case I would love to see Dino Jr play for that long!! I have never seen them before. Tickets were $38.25 (that includes the additional ticketmaster charges). I hear about that Liars show, its sounds fun! I would like to go, when are tickets "on sale"? I know that Sonic Youth are doing a free show in NYC in July I think, tickets go "on sale" soon.

when was the last time you saw them? is daydream nation is your favorite sonic youth album? if so it this concert should really be a treat, they are one of my favorite bands, i know it's a pretty naive way of thinking but i really took it hard when they signed with starbucks
