Ich hab' noch nicht reingehört, muss ich ehrlich gestehen. Will ich aber vor dem Konzert im Februar noch unbedingt tun! Wie findest du das Album denn?

Findest du? Also ich war schon ziemlich gefesselt v. a. von Insomnium. Die Band hats geschafft, mich alles um mich herum vergessen zu lassen. War für mich ein gelungener Abend!

mir! - hab nur mal geschaut, wer so auf dem insomnium konzert war und festgestellt, dass unsere musikalische übereinstimmung echt groß ist - und das bei so grandiosen bands. :)

Sadly I don't even have a cd player at uni. So most of my listening does happen on the computer/my ipod. Yet I do have five (!) physical cds just on my desk.

ooh, thank you for the recommendations! i really love the Fas - Ite album by deathspell omega. i like sdbm bands like shining, lifelover and nyktalgia if you've heard of any of them? i'd strongly recommend them.

haha, yeah it's all good dude, everyone likes things differently, which is what makes music so amazing. Both albums are masterpieces though, there is very little between the two for me. 'Panopticon' comes first for me as 'In Fiction' is my favorite ISIS song, ISIS was my first ever gig in 2005 and they played nearly all of 'Panopticon', so it's special to me that way.

:-) Hast ja recht. Hat mich nur interessiert, was sie zu Avatar zu sagen hat, aber hat mich wieder nur geärgert. Ich bin einfach zu neugierig.

haha tough guy hardcore people are idiots. Good band though. Yeah the new Kylesa album is probably their best one, nice to see a band getting better as they go. It has a real great groove and atmosphere. I like CTS, it isn't as good as Leviathan or Remission, but it's a great album. It's the last of the 4 element albums, so the next one might be heavier. Totally agree about Axe To Fall, it's by far my album of this year, it's incredible. I can't wait for them to tour Uk/Europe and to see some songs from it live. So what do you make of the new Dillinger song 'Farewell, Mona Lisa'?

I like the Dead Swans album and EP equally, they're both really good I think. Have you heard of Reign Supreme? They're kind of like Dead Swans. See you just listened to Mastodon & Kylesa, 2 of my favourite albums of this year for sure. What do you think of Axe To Fall?

Ja des is relativ witzig...irgendwie find ich da net soo viel was gleich is und was wir beide viel hören. Liegt halt dran weil du einfach alles hörst und da dann auch ma was von mir dabei is;)
