Glad to be of help to you! :) (It's been AGES since I viewed a video with ANYTHING OTHER than VLC. I like it because it can play damn nearly ANY video codec you can throw at it. Nice one-stop program that does it all. I watch a lot of official and bootleg concert video, and get said videos in all kinds of formats and from varying sources. It's nice to be able to associate everything to one program and not have to THINK about it.) I'll have to take a screenshot of my AIMP in operation sometime. I like how sleek it looks with my setup, lol. Good to have you back in the neighborhood!

On an unrelated, and more serious note, I'd like to say..."WE FUCKED UP!" Pat and I are terribly sorry we got this clown Obama into office and we've learned the error of our ways. We'll be re-registering REPUBLICAN and have thrown our 100% support behind (you guessed it) RON PAUL. I think that guy makes SO MUCH SENSE and I'm totally disgusted by how the media wants to marginalize and ignore him so badly. What's so wrong about wanting to return to responsible fiscal principles, ending the failed Federal Reserve, and returning to a CONSTITUTIONAL government based upon freedom, respect for the individual, and personal responsibility? All I do know is that this country is on a DANGEROUS path, and I apologize for being part of it, and at one time, allowing it to cause a rift in a cordial friendship. We were wrong, and apologies are necessary. So, once again, we're sorry we screwed our country up, and sorry to have alienated a concerned friend.

Oh yeah, I'm sure you're into lossless, for high-def rips (vinyls, SACDs, etc.) you cannot beat other players ability to more realistically process those higher frequencies. Simply re-install Last.fm when you get AIMP 2, and even though it is not listed in the supported players, since it uses Winamp's basic structure, you can associate the program with Winamp and AIMP2 will work like a charm for scrobbling. Note: You must keep Last.fm's program open for it work as intended, I think. If you can prove me wrong, then great! One less program I'll have to keep open. Also, you can associate your Last.fm with ALL players on your system, so if I have to play something that AIMP2 can't handle (like a DTS rip, for example) I have it associated to Foobar 2000 (and also my Media Monkey). Believe me, your scrobbling, and listening days will only improve by abandoning the Llama!

Stop using Winamp. There are FAR better players out there with better sound processing abilities, which you can use with Last.fm. I finally re-installed Last,fm and got my AIMP2 player to cooperate nicely with it. I'm back in scrobbling heaven now. Winamp is (imho) the bare bones media player for n00bz. With other options (like Foobar 2000, Media Monkey, and the ever-superior Russian import AIMP2) I don't see why anyone would want to use Winamp. It may have whipped the llama's ass before (LOL) but it's kind of weak now, since other players have used some of its functionality as a base/foundation for their improvements upon such. Highly recommend you look into a different player, since Winamp has gone and gayed themselves up nice and good. Haha. Trust me on this.

The Winamp audioscrobbler no longer works after reinstalling. Something about RPC not being able to start up, which actually prevents Winamp from starting as long as the plugin exists. So, my days of scrobbling are over unless anyone has a fix for this.

Hi, there! Absolutely, things are great! Not scrobbling too much these days, due to my newest media player (AIMP2) not supporting scrobbling. I've been using it for many months now, and the sound reproduction is totally superior to foobar 2000 or MediaMonkey. It pretty much kicks ass on all the vinyl and Hi-Res rips I've come across in recent months/years. I'm still with Pat; we've been together for five years now. Hard to believe the time passes so quickly. How are you and yours? I haven't heard from you in ages, and I've left soulseek myself, for many reasons. Seems like it's a haven for trolls and leeches, and I just can't deal with that kind of drama. I've outgrown it, you might say. Add that to the fact I'm busy as hell, working six days a week, so I really don't have the energy for chatting and such. Heading out on vacation next week, though...first significant time off in a year. It's well deserved/needed. What are you up to these days? I hope all is well with you!
