Nice review of the Mark Kozelek concert; you are a talented writer. :) I agree with many of your points.

Yeah I think you're right with your observations but then this is life and the only thing permanent is change and MK is no exception (in that sense) and he's getting old. Some friend once said mental wounds just like physical wounds also heal with time and probably that is the case with MK and his song writing of late. But then the genius that he is i know he'll always find his way to create something brilliant.

Hey thanks I'd love to do that but I don't think I'll be ever able to see him play live (cannot afford - constraints on my side). Artistic rebirth? I'm not sure about that as I believe Mark has always been there and never never disappointed me. Admiral Fell is still the best album for me :)

oh hum. ticket master might still have a ticket? it seems they always have tickets for shows that are sold out though...so i'm not sure if they update it! anyway try that. i'm not sure if there is an opener. my ticket just says sebadoh, but the last.fm event page says they go on at 10:15, which would mean there IS an opener? i actually really hope there is going to be an opener because i'm traveling from kingston for this show and so i won't be able to get there before 9. D:
