it was almost burnt basically, the steak i mean, so i asked the waiter to take this back (i dont usually do this but im picky about steak) and he kind of gives me a weird stare back as if im speaking swahili or something so its just awkward silence while he stares at me. i look around to make sure im not missing something but theres nothing going on so i look back at him again and hes still just staring at me. i wave my hand in front of his face and he snaps out of this weird trance like state he was in and says 'im sorry sir, you wanted your steak medium rare, ill get with the kitchen on this right away' or something like that. pretty strange experience it was like a dream or something and i dont even know if its real or not at this point

this practically explains the entire evening. you see, at 6 past 4, I trampled my appendages out of the furthest tavern, scattered myself across the boulevard down each passageway all at once, or so it seemed - the corridors branched out in every direction, crisscrossing and over-lapping each other like a weave of tangled eyebrows, and mine were raised - and found myself in many places all at once as if they were but one single place. One such place was a steakhouse known as Tony's Ton of Steak and this was where I found myself waiting, waiting to sit down while the host fumbled with his broken fingers. He kept dropping them onto the ground and the mice would grab them and run away - I watched this happen at least fourteen times before he finally realized that there was a two top available. "Come, this way -" he said, as he led me down a hundred different corridors, and I began to ask myself "y tu, brutus?"

Kurt Vile brought me here. It would be rude to come across a Super compatible profile and not leave a shout.

"Your compatibility with SouptheHoop is Low.You both listen to Alex G, Eyedress and Madlib." Lmao this compatibility thing is so bad or didn't mention any of the dream pop artists 😭😂, great library btw

absolutely loved Ty Segall, especially "Tall Man Skinny Lady", also enjoyed Toe Cutter. Fuzz hasn't clicked somehow, But you were quite on point and right with recommendations. Never knew or heard of these bands before.

DC is a very pretty album. Very dreamy atmosphere, which Beach House is great at creating. Yeah, Devotion may be their prettiest album. Overall, DC hasn't fully wowed me yet, but I know music can take time, so I'm being patient with it overall. Yeah Beyond Love is great. Definitely my favorite song on the record, and honestly one of only a few that I've gone back and listened to without playing through the whole album.

Wow, this is a heroic recommendation on many levels, thanks a lot. The name, the front cover, that they sound like Roxy Music held at gunpoint and forced to play along to a Mad Max film...

Haha I just read that excerpt, good preview but its a shame they missed the best part. He's basically just this paranoid hedonist who imports a tortoise for the sake of sticking gems to its shell, and wires up a keyboard to a liquor collection and experiments playing chords of alcohol. Can you recommend me your audio gold of the week?

Just read that image of Sigourney Weaver rubbing you with wine and it made me think that if you haven't read Against The Grain by Joris Huymans you might like it.
