My name is Liam Cooke and I study at the Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Netherlands and I am currently conducting research into how UK Youth aged 16-30 use Last.FM. Below is the link to my survey which should take approximately 5 minutes and your cooperation is greatly appreciated! The answers you provide will be entirely anonymous and will not be shared with third parties, nor will your IP address be registered. I will handle your answers discretely. If you are interested in the final results I would be glad to share these with you. http://edu.surveygizmo.com/s3/509045/UK-Youth-and-their-use-of-Last-FM

is that the band with emily haines in? I have been listening to her and the soft skeleton-i like it alot. I dont have any gigs lined up at the moment-will just wait and see what comes up at adelphi. I dont drive so its hard for me to go further than hull and be able to get home again. I did quite want to see pavement at atp but its sold out now. What about you? Im getting into psychedelic folk at the moment-its good. And I listened to some do make say think-i was curious after seeing them on your page-they are amazing. Have you ever seen them?

well it was good that it wasnt packed because i could stand wherever i liked and see her but she didnt have her piano or bassist or anything it was just her and an acoustic guitar so it was a bit plain. and she only played new songs i hadnt heard and i was expecting other songs which was dissapointing. but she played well and has a good voice. but it seems odd that she came all the way from san francisco to shitty hull and an audience of about 10 people. do people get payed alot to play at the adelphi? first aid kit sounds like it will be better then.

Lonesome crowdest west is my favourite too, it sounds different to their other albums and I also like this is a long drive for someone with nothing to think about. I quite like their last two as well though people think they are not as good i think they are just different but still good. I haven't seen them, I would very much like to, they are very good. As for pavement I think my favourite album is wowee zowee and favourite songs are grounded, shady lane, blue hawaiian, in the mouth a desert is a really cool song.-i would reccomend that. and zurich is stained-they are both on slanted and enchanted which is good. i guess most of their songs are good its just personal preference. im not even a massive fan of them-they are just quite easy to get into and fun to listen to so i end up listening to them alot. First aid kit should be interesting or an experience-they are quite unique.

yeah but there's not much to do when it comes to live music is there? I mean Leeds and York are close but the trains dont go to Hull past 10.30ish. Other than that I actually quite liked moving to Hull, everythings so much cheaper compared to London
