I joined the free version and fine yes you can find just about any song. It's not the adverts in between songs it's the constant system messages i get popping up while the program runs complete pest.

I don't think Indious is down, but it's definitely having some issues. It initially connects, shows your stats, accepts your password, then refuses the connection... I'm also in the Anti-Music hub, which is probably better, but is a pain in the ass to get registered for. Try this site, it has rss feeds for lots of music blogs, you can download them from rapidshare, mediafire, etc...
