Definitely different from ICHC, but I really did enjoy it, especially the last part where everything comes together. Seems like a totally different band from the ROAR I know, but I wouldn't say it's a bad thing.

I like that. Good assessment. Check out Christmas Island by AJJ if you haven't, I think you might like it. One of my favorite albums from that scene. Owen from Roar would even go on to play drums with them for a while. They have a similiar energy, like a bunch of softie punks channeling fucked up visions from the past. Every song has a different line-up of instruments. Great sound.

I do like the instrumentation. Won't lie though the "Hellen Keller to the bullshit" on Temple Grandin did throw me off 💀. Definitely a genre I have to explore more of. Thanks, Dad.

Don't listen to Flipper's Guitar! Apparently that guy bragged about force feeding shit to a retarded kid at school in a magazine interview he did when in his late 20s. It's funny how the guy who wears a baby blue turtleneck and a pork pie hat to sing about berets and bowlcuts and chocolate milk ends up being more fucked in the head than a guy who's whole thing is being fucked in the head, like Seth Putnam or some shit like that... Worst type of dude. I can't endorse something like that.

Yeah I still need to check out Lost at Sea and I've been meaning to check out Maus for a while. Saga is an amazing comic, you should definitely check it out if you like Sci-Fi/ Fantasy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saga_%28comic_book%29

Definitely check out all of IARB and IDOTG, both took a couple of listens but they'll really grow on you. Thanks!, I love the graphics novels and movie. I have read Seconds and it's pretty good. My favorite aspects are the art style, and Katie and Hazel's friendship. I never really liked Max and I don't ever feel like rereading the whole book just certain parts. The book has a certain charm to it, different than Scott Pilgrim.
