Hello Sianshambles! We saw that you have a pretty good music taste and thought that you'd maybe like our music as well. We are three girls from the forests of Sweden and we are going to record our very first album in Woodstock this summer! We have a couple of songs up that we would love if you checked out! VIDAR - Phoenix and VIDAR - Ships. Let us know what you think (it's much appreciated) and also check out our cover of 'Kathy's Song' that we got the chance to play live for Paul Simon! Love, VIDAR

And yours? I go back to Sheffield on the 12th :) and I haven't applied for the postie job yet (I don't even know if there are any vacancies) but I will as soon as I return to that area east of Pennines. xx

Yes, I suppose that does slightly out-peak my Albert Hall times, but only on the merit that it was nominally The Libertines :(. There wasn't anything outstanding about the reunion but the reunion itself (I shamelessly, indulgently watched them on tv..). Still dead jealous though. Hopefully I will get to see them in some grotty little hole which suits them a better than a festival stage- and with some new songs :). Tut, Sian can't handle her drink :P Glad you had a good time though! It got a bit messy there didn't it? I'm definitely not missing out on a festival next year. That I have decided. I don't think I'll be able to forgive myself for allowing myself to miss out on The Libs, Arcade Fire and BSP. What did you think of Arcade Fire anyway? Converted yet? ;) My summer has been a bit pants really. All I've done is worked at W.H Smithe's, which has only been punctuated by a day in Blackpool visiting a friend and a horrendous few days in my new Sheff dwelling place.

Aaaahh! You actually went?! I'm so envious, my original intent this year was to set aside cash before winter just for the reunion but I found myself in need of other things before plane and concert tickets. :/ Plus I was all the way down in Mexico at the time occupied with other things, but suffice to say I'm going to see Interpol in NYC for my birthday in November so there's something to look forward to. :D (And I did check out some of Doherty's singles, and I must say they are pure brilliance!)

I am going to Reading and hoping to see the Libertines at there warm up show in London. Other then the people you mentioned looking forward to Girls, Adam Green and I Blame Coco. I do love Los Camp and Mystery Jets but I've seen them before. Blink 182 should be really good, it will be like been a kid again. You got any other gigs coming up? xx

Oh Sian! Must you remind that I'm not going to Leeds? It's very insensitive of you you know :( It's not like I keep reminding you about Albert Hall related things.. :P. Who else are you going to see other than The Libs? I highly recommend British Sea Power- their music is quite divine. Ah, 'real good' as oppposed to that fakey good :) What have you been up to lately? I'm not too bad, thanks. I'm back home now which is a bit rubbish, but what can one do about such things? Only three weeks to go! xx

yeah i was at v 08, and i completely agree the sof craze has ruined everything about kol. why scummy leeds? reading is far better! d'you really think it's going to be low on numbers? i'm sure it'll be full-ish. good thinking, half 8 probably. his songs are quite short, he can probably rattle out 25 in an hour and a bit.

reading, for me. but i guess it depends on the line-up and what my mates wanna do. how about you? i'd be very tempted to go to v though if kol played, but the v crowd would probably be the worst possible place to see them. i hope they don't play. i really hope he plays what a waster, but that's probably unlikely. i'm unsure what time to get there as it's a friday and curfew is 9.45.. he'll be on at 8 then do you think?

i know, it's crazy really. wish i was on my own watching them in the academy though than an arena full of teeny boppers like it is now. ahhh well. honestly, i don't know what to expect from adam green. i've heard he can be amazing live, or just so wasted that it ruins it? i do like the sound of the new album though. yeah, say hey by all means, maybe i won't look like such a loser then. :) of course everything i like is awesome. i clearly have immaculate taste!

yeah feeder sold out. they called it "going back to their roots, playing smaller venues".. but i saw them at the barfly not too long ago... hah, you bought his ticket? i have done that before, but only for my brother: kings of leon - academy 2007, can you believe nobody would go to that with me? how times change. nope, unfortunately i'm on my own for adam green, my persuasions didn't work on that one :( actually i haven't been to a gig alone for a while. hmm.. i don't have any guilty pleasures, because clearly if i like it it must be awesome and far from being embarrassing :)

oh yeah the smaller venue the better. i'll be checking out academy 3 tonight for feeder/renegades :) ocean colour scene were amazing, but i am a bit of a fanboy there. stupidly small venue, new album previewed, and a few old gems. excellent. but yeah the gig list is looking good for the next few months. some are maybes at the moment though due to my friends unwillingness to go to gigs that aren't mainstream. oh, and, miley cyrus?! oh dear! :)

i'm ok thanks. glad to hear they're still on form, hopefully they will tour again around the album release, and i won't miss it this time. yeah i'm going to adam green. i've been to the new academy, but i haven't seen the academy 2 yet, have you? i'm guessing it is a similar size and upstairs like the old one was.

Aaargh. Dead jealous you're going to see the monkeys! You have gained one on me in the jealousy game. But i will be seeing the shambles in sheffield too :P oooh, i think that squares it again ;). Aha, i think the :| is justified in the case of the kaiser chiefs, but not some much on Coxon though! Jeeez, i'm still feeling a little wobbly from last night :/ was planning to get some work done on the train but not sure my brain is up to it at the moment haha. Bloctober? I couldn't make it :( was a little tight for cash and it had sold out too.. boo. Did you go? xxx

Sianshambles! :) It seems like ages since the last time i spoke to you :( Sheffield seems to take up all of my time though now :/ especially seeing as i have to do four modules this semester and everyone else seems to have just three. Boo. It's what i get for doing lang and lit. I've spent the last week confined to my room studying and writing essays, but they're all over now! Well, at least until friday when i get set another one... jeeez. How are you? What have you been up to? You must enlighten me :). One thing i need is a gig. BABYSHAMBLES when i return home :D i swear they've put the show on just for me as the 19th is the day i return :O crazy. ow's sixth form going anyway? And dead jealous you're going to see AM in november! My german flatmate got a ticket to see them here in sheff. Lucky bastard. xxx

:D really really? That would be brilliant :) I do hope it hasn't sold out =/ I will probably be in sheffield then, so it's not too bad for me to get to. I'd love to see him in london again, but that's just ridiculously expensive- you know, like the time i saw him at that place... what's it called again? ... Oh yes, the royal albert hall :P bahahahaha. Does that shake you? ;). And i doubt very much i'll be at the rumble strips as much as i would love to be- i'll no longer be a brummie then, but a yorkshireman :/ lol. xxx

Oh dear :( I'm trying to feel sorry for you, but as you know ... actually, you don't :P ... it is very difficult not to feel smug when you make someone jealous ;P Bahaha. Only kidding m'dear :) You should comeeee. I know it's not exactly easy or efficient to travel to manchester, but will it not be fun? And after all it IS peter ;). If not, i will record the entire event, make a film and send it you for your birthday. Now wouldn't that just be the greatest present ever?! ;) xxx

Oh no, is he rubbish as the pan i am? :O This is not good. I still want to see him though lol. Eugh, i have a hideous timed exam myself tomorrow :| three hours infact. Three hours of analysing different texts. Joy. So will sian glow with delight when all exams are over? :). Are you still going to the horrors? I am actually in possession of a ticket :O yes, I, have bought a ticket before a show has sold out. Are you proud of me? ;) lol. 15 pound is extremely hefty for such a small gig =/ hmm, i'm sure you'll be reimbursed when you start your job :). I'm good thanks :) been studying a lot! Hence my lack of last.fm/myspace appearances xD Tomorrow's exam will be my fourth creditable piece of work this week :O my head is starting to hurt and i can no longer think straight lol. And you? Been partying like there is no tomorrow at all? ;) And i have spent a lot of time in the college library, that is all lol. I need to go outtt!! xxx

Yes, as in The Pan I Am :) i haven't even heard any of his songs but i'm going entirely on the merit that it's Ed Larrikin. Oh dear, not more exams :| i do empathise ... not :P bahaha. Only kidding :) How many, and what do you have left to do? Ahaha, what songs did he play then? Just his folky stuff? So was it a waste of 15 quid? Questions questions questions! xD. Oh my eyes were very glazed- i was like a wilted daisy again... xx
