Friggin awesome taste dude. Quality all over. Greetings from Norway!

Hee, thanks for accepting! And great to see you dig Ryan Adams too ( I once went to a gig of him where he was very angry; it was the best one ever!), and some artists I still should explore. Great! Have a nice evening and greets, Rebekka.

Quit the Bob Dylan fan, are ye? Did you celebrate Dylan's 70th birthday? I went to the Dylan70 Festival in the Netherlands. It was a great tribute to the Master. Cheers, Sam (just browsin' Last.fm)

Shotton, Shottoff

Ah I know! I only found out myself a few days ago! I wouldn't get too excited though, I haven't bought it but I've managed to 'listen to it' if you know what I mean... and it's not great. Not great at all...

Red River Shore is already in my top 10 most listened to songs ever! :-)

One good thing... when you listen to something it goes straight on to your chart. None of this waiting around the end of the week malarky...

Check out the new last.fm... absolutely horrible isn't it?!?! I can't believe they broke my last.fm!

You are now officially my number 1 neighbour since I reset my stats...

haha I must be! :) Just when I look at my charts, theres a few artists on there I don't really listen to anymore... It's not a fair representation! haha

also... I'm seriously thinking of resetting my last.fm account and starting a fresh...

Sweet Jesus... Have you seen how many plays Radiohead have on here?!? Ridiculous.

Aye I do like Don't Fall Apart On Me Tonight... Union Sundown is pretty shite though in my opinion. Fun, but shite :)

Ha! I had noticed that! Great minds think a like! I didn't realise until last night that all the best songs seem to be loaded into the front of the album.

Captain Beefheart is unique and one of the greats. If you can get hold of the John Peel-narrated documentary about him, it's well worth a peek. The bits with Ry Cooder recollecting the Safe as Milk sessions and the aborted music festival is hilarious.

Yeah! A bit o' the Captain for a Sunday morning. Autumn's Child - absolutely sublime.

150 unique artists played by me this week... that's got to be some knd of record!!

You better believe it I'm there!!

You're in my top 6 neighbours man... and I'm in yours!

I've got my first 1000+ artist... and guess who it is...!

Aye it's great!! Although I quite like the second, bluesy version on Planet Waves too!

14,000 tracks...! Still a long way to go to catch your good self up though!

I can see you're loving the ol' Ron Franklin! He's not bad is he...?!

231?!?! :-D

Haha so I am! Excellent! Must be all that Dylan I've been listening to... that and the fact that we both have impeccable taste.

Just got in and my phone's been off all day... count me in!

...and it's done. There's a brand new number one on my charts these days...!

Dylan is just 6 listens behind Tom Waits on my charts now... I might have a new number one soon!

Damn right, it's great! And the two box sets are well worth the admission price! Did you get them for Christmas? Have you been to see I'm Not There yet?

I meant to say that I am not unwell. Things are swell. I'm confused!

Yeah - flamenco is amazing. We go to Jerez every summer. Things are not going unwell thanks! Finally going to see Morrissey after all these years - January.

Nice - you getting into the flamenco? All the females in my house are flamenco-crazy!

I see the Raveonettes have been getting a good play!! Check out my number one... it's only The Boss! haha!

I really like them/her! Even enough to download a couple of her other albums (legally I might add :-)). I applaud your recommendation sir!

Haha I know, I surprised myself with that one! Must do better!

Also... I must say, the new Radiohead album that you can download from their website for the price of your own choosing is really rather good... Well worth the £2 I chose to pay! Haha!

For the second week in a row, Josh Ritter is my number 1 artist... and fifth on yours this week! Maybe we should rethink about going to see him at the Sage...!

Cheers, yea i know i've been in last 3 days in a row & they're still waitin for some more to come in! cheers for lettin us know though.

10,000 songs played! Finally!!

Ah yes... 'tis a fine, fine song!

313, that's still mightily impressive!! And a one artist weekly chart... I never thought I'd see the day!

Nice one, cheers for your help.

Alright, not heard nothing on tickets yet, on BSP website it says ticket info coming soon, so just keep checking that. Only just moved to Newcastle so not really sure where this church is they're playing. You any ideas?

Mr. Shotton...! Have a look at this: http://www.nme.com/news/bob-dylan/30321

My secret weapon: whip out a copy of Wire magazine and start searching thru Last.fm for the obscurity - ah shit, it's not so secret anymore!! I've said too much.

Amen to Bob! Glad to hear you had a good one. Back to the grind now and in need of some mainstream challenging.

Hey dude. Good summer? A Dylan phase is most suitable for the end o' summer blues.

Haha, well... On first listen I'm not too impressed! I'm going to listen to it properly on my way to work today... I'll let you know... ;)

...guitar solo!!

Hey dude - still on the Ryan Adams kick! I'm interspersing some more mainstream stuff with avant-rock noise that pisses off the rest of the household ;-)
