Yeah it is a shame. :( I guess the good thing is that they ended before they released any bad albums. They've split for the right reasons as well, to spend time with family etc. Just to let you know, Geoff is still in a band (United Nations) but I'm not sure if they'll be touring. I think HWM's Alk3 covers are amazing. I've opted to listen to the HWM versions before!

Wow! I had no idea that Thursday were fans of HWM. I didn't see that on Facebook. It must have been the only update I've not read from them. It's a shame that Thursday won't be making any music again. :(

I know you've heard the Best of...... but it's completely different listening to the full studio albums. :p They're complete pieces of art. :)

I'd work through chronologically. It's the easiest way to proceed with them as they change so much. You really do need to listen to them cos you'll absolutely love them. They're just so consistent.

How are you? I've been listening to a lot of cool music lately. Been listening to quite a lot of experimental metal/hard rock. Some of the bands are amazing.

And then we'll all riot again. One vicious cycle. :p

The things is, everyone will claim on their insurance and the government will have to help out. We'll all end up paying for this in our taxes. :(

It's really sad. I don't understand what these people think they're achieving apart from stealing things.

I'm sure they'll get it repaired as soon as possible. It's in their best interest to do so. I take it you're from London way then?

I've seen them a few times. The first time was on the 'Good Mourning' tour which they played mostly from that album. After that, they've tended to do more of a greatest hits set. This is only a good thing. They have such a stunning catalogue to choose from. They don't believe in taking breaks between songs as well so they play as much as possible. They're one of the best value bands to see. They're so good, I got their symbol tattooed on my shoulder! :)
