We had like 1 old cat which seemed sad being alone so we bought another 2 cats. Before the old one died we sheltered one more cat that stumbled upon our house one day and this cat got pregnant with 3 cats. It gives 7 cats...oops,problems with counting? :D Soon after that the old cat died, we sold the 3 kittens and their mother got poisoned to death and one of the two first cats died too. But we used to have many cats before, anyway. Ha ha how could I miscount that much ? :D

I'm familiar with sonic youth:) no covers, I write the songs and my guitarist does it too but so far we've arranged only my songs. un I guess by e.g. my sister's behaviour. I'm not a big fan of theirs but I like the singles and they sounded really good ( I was surprised in a positive way by the singer's voice) . I didn;t like songs I didn't know because they were boring. To me. Oh and I have to mention I couldn't concentate totally on the band because I was arguing with some Englishmen about who;s better: Blur or oasis ... :D so it was fun but I can't speak now cos I was screaming too loud ... sdrop the following gig (the first one was better, lucky me!). After our concert all 40 000 of us (fans) went to the underground station singing "tender" like football supporters after a match... Can't compare this to anything that happened to me in my life, really.. I bought the live cd from Hyde Park and well it sounds familiar ;] Yesterday I went to see Radiohead live but I actually couldn't see them because I was too far from the stage...;\ but I heard them and technically they were pretty good, although most of the songs that they've chosen for the gig were not my favourites. There were moments when I was a bit bored, but some songs were amazing. I also was on Coke Live Festival in Cracow to see The Streets, James and the Killers. They all rocked ! Mike Skinner kept playing with the audience which was fun. James were absolutely magical, they played and sang brilliant, they were loud and fascinating! Hey, how's your summer ??? I haven't been at home for more than one day since I dunno when... I've been to Czech Republic, Sweden and God knows where else... When it comes to Blur's gig...words can;t describe it.. You know that for me it was a dream come true so what more can I say... The crowd went crazy when the band got on the stage, each and every song was being played excellent, no false notes nothing like that. Damon couldn't stand still for a minute. There was real Phil Daniels performing "Parklife", he was like the devil itself:D both Blur and the fans were having great time, everyone was singing along ALL the lyrics, jumping and clapping hands -there was no space to put them down actually... There were so many emotions in their songs that I could hardly stand it and not burst into tears...I hope you get what I mean. I touched Damon 3 times ! I was so lucky lucky standing so close to the stage... I felt like crying when the gig ended and I went to Hyde Park the next day to eave

Hello ! Man what a hard month was that ! After passing (I hope:D) all the exams at school I've just finished my whole-week-long drawing exam. If I passed it, I'll be studying graphics at the University of Arts :] even though chances are low, I'm trying not to lose hope. I mean I'm happy anyway because I passed the first level and made it to the last which was a big success for me. And for God's sake I'm going to Blur's gig ...And now it's only one week left !!! And how are You, friend? What have you been doing all this time? Have you been listening to something new? How is your guitar practice? Maybe I can get you something from England? I've got to know Sing-Sing more and I really like their stuff - thanks for the recommendation !

I loved football, too, when I was younger and could spend more time on watching matches than now. So, are there any teams you 'support'? I can see same sympthoms of the same 'illness' in me and you. Brit freaks ;] Uhm, as to my guitar practice, I really prefer to leave it to the right people who don't spoil good songs. But I've counted up songs I wrote at the age of 14 - 17 and started to record them at last with my computer instead. I've turned back to the Manics recently - sunny weather which we're having now and your reference of them reminded me of their last year concert :) I should be larning to my upcoming final exams but the weather makes me go out every day. And so I played with my dog in the garden and while I did, it knocked me over and now I have my toe broken wchich means no walking and no cycling and no hmm living in the next few weeks;\ So this is my penance I guess. I'm glad that legs are not neccessary to be able to listen to music. O.K., heading to maths again...

I see, why scatter the computer with something you wouldn't listen to. So you've never been to Europe? Canada seems a beautiful place. Good for cycling all over the country or so I've heard. I'll join you in raiding European music stores if you don't mind :D But only in GB,they have anything you'd make up in first rows and on first shelves.

I can send you some music if you want. I've got Shed Seven 'Change giver' and Bluetones 'Expecting to fly' and Ride 'Nowhere' (they were probably the easiest to find) and something from Dodgy, too(five albums actually). And whole discography of Gene I believe,although I still haven't listened to all of it. As to Manics,I suggest that you listen to their 'best of ' first, then try the rest. 'Unbelievable' is realy popular. I haven't heard of Republica though. I myself didn't like Spice Girl when they were on the top (because they were on the top) but now I find them ...Brit. Maybe you shouldn't have been born in Canada,eh? ;)

I'm really surprised you haven't known those bands before. Shed Seven are in my opinion the best from your list. Manics are pretty cool too, I saw them last year and they were awesome! Their tunes are really catchy, but maybe too... comercial. As to Bluetones, I couldn't get through all of their stuff but I appreciate they created 'Slight return' - it's one of the biggest songs of the 90s! But I'd classify them and Ride to 'the second league' of Brit Pop. Still good to know some more music of course. I can see by your charts that you don't like trying new stuff... To me Deep Blue Something sound just like.. the 90s :-) I don't get why people don't like talking about past things. I mean, the things you used to do-it was your life so it's a part of you, why should you forget about it?

And it's more like from the 70s I guess because it's low and looks more modern: half glass-half plastic. No, it's not glass-it's also plastic but transparent. It's a fad now, especially in Britain, to have one, isn't it? There are even some records that are not produced as cds but as vinyls only. which may be cruel. I see.
