Hello Jessica, have you heard the band Carnivores? Jarvis Cocker loves them and they're touring the UK soon!

Although your charts and your library are very good I don't want to be Dorian Gray... he he...Sibyl is not an easy choice for you, I think, bad ending....:-). Oscar Wilde and Robert Louis Stevenson are two of my favorite writers. Klimt is very poetic, and he was a lucky one...but I really love Cezanne, he was the master, so, surprised because the picture in your profile, it looks like you are a very talented young person. So many congratulations and good wishes :-)

Oh hi there my new lastfm friend, I thank you for making the request. I see some excellent music in your charts, and interesting groups that you're a member of, so I am pleased to have you as a friend. If you don't find it trouble, I'd like to recommend you some music, for starters Jens Lekman - Oh You're so Silent, Jens. His lovely wit makes his lyrics perfectly depressive, but he's also a sampling god with a great sense for melody and rhythm.

I currently enjoy "Do you remember the first time" on the "His 'n' hers" album a lot. And it's so sad for Mark Linkous' family and friends. :( I haven't really listened to Sparklehorse though. Fav lyricist would be Ian Curtis. He was a truly gifted poet and his death a huge loss for the music world. Fav singer must be Robert Smith; a lot of people might find his voice highly annoying but I adore and enjoy his singing style. My favourite bands in the last month were The Cure, Joy Division and Manic Steet Preachers. How about you?

Loved him in Skins :3 Well I'm shocked that they get votes at all, I really despair of all of the buggers. Not sure who to vote for to be quite honest, but must vote :| Oh God those posters are so bad. Politicians do seem to have an incredible talent for coming up with the most shitey slogans possible. I feel sorry for Gordon Brown almost as much as I dislike the man. He looks like he needs to go and have a lie down for several years. Cheers ;)

HELLO. Erm, a lot of Split Enz and Crowded House mainly. And a bit of Marvin Gaye. Yes, I fucking love that film. So well written. Aye, I hope they do make another series, I was at the edge of my seat at the series 3 conclusion. Love Malcolm Tucker ♥ And if the tories get in I will end my life. Sweaty arse heads.

It IS S, Pastel? I guess it was the shadows of the eyes. I thought it was eyeliner from the Transformer days. You are deficient in McCarthy. Would you like their second and third albums?

I've reached the descending 54,321st track which is the brilliant Appropriation (By Any Other Name) by The Long Blondes basically based on the Hitchcock film Vertigo. I never realised how much purple made Lou Reed look like Stephen Pastel.

As soon as Fearne Cotton gets her slimy tentacles into something, you know it's all over. I'd like to get a tuxedo but there don't seem to be any specialist tux shops nearby. Patrick Wolf is a good 'un, I find I have to be in the right mood to listen to him though possibly. I wanted to start a Pulp cover band and call it Gulp. Well I've got Killing Joke and The Damned later in the year. The Damned are probably my favourite band to see live, they're just brill.

Ah totp, such a good show until they butchered it in the 00s. I am in desperate need of a tweed jacket, but I have too many jackets already so I'd feel guilty and wasteful if I bought one :'( "the Charlie Brooker of the bird world" hahaha, that is perfect, I think I love you for that. I think you may be a genius. Yes good old electrical cubes. My name is ~Lilly~ At the moment I've got Crowded House - Crowded House, Talk Talk - The Party's Over & It's My Life, Alternative TV - The Image Has Cracked, and Split Enz - True Colours & Frenzy on rotation. Ooh, that's quite a few albums isn't it? All bloody good though.

Oh really? Goodo, let's be chums. I spy with my little eye, something that begins with Jarvis Cocker. Ooh, I do love me a bit of Jarvis. When I was a child I was into milk, looney tunes and britpop. And other things obviously but I won't list everything, that would take far too long.

I seem to be fixed on dub, dubstep and ambient type stuff at the moment - although that could all change at the drop of a hat. How about you? What's floating your boat?
