drop the world is dat ish

Uh, Dude...I think your profile has been cracked. I received a post with a *spam link yesterday from your profile. Didn't open it, and it looks like the moderators deleted it. Don't know if changing your password will help, but be awarez.

super busy on this side as well--totally overloaded with coursework, but enjoying it all the more since my classes are FINALLY related to video work, LoL. Gotta get back to it in a minute too. Before I go though, check out this page someone sent to me. It has a pretty sweet listing of jazzy hip-hop artists that are similar to Nomak, Nujabes and DJ Deckstream. The download links are dead...but the listing is comprehensive: http://www.setbb.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=1611&mforum=amalgam

yo, man! what'sup! it's been a minute since we've shouted. what's new in music and video and how's school? :)

aya! Blue Sky Black Death just posted a download link on their MySpace page for some of their previously unreleased works. Dude. I can't believe how much I missed their sound. Give it a listen: http://bit.ly/Td6L5

super compatibility:) nice taste man! Peace

yeah, i saw that vid on Vimeo when they first dropped it! definitely good stuff! i ended up downloading the album. other than that though, my music collection's been getting a little stale as well. just listening to all the oldies in my collection. as far as recommendations go, i'd say definitely get more of that [artist]BT[/artist] guy--specifically his album "This Binary Universe". Also, Nujabes and Uyama Hiroto have some new songs featured on an album of Japanese Hip-Hop producers; the album's titled "Mellow Beats, Friends & Lovers". I'm gonna try to import it next month. Other than that, i've been listening to a ton of Santigold remixes sent to me on Hype Machine, i'm tracking through Mos Def's new album, i finally got around to enjoying K-OS's new dig, and am scrounging around for good mash-ups here and there...that's been my summer music exp. so far.

yo, man! what's goin' on. how's your summer coming?

hey, man. *scratching my head* did i ever drop this your way? http://blip.fm/~7byfc It's a sweet Trip-Hop and Hip-Hop mashup of Portishead, T.I., Young Jeezy, and Young Buck done by DJ Lobsterdust

I typically don't like Buck 65's style, but his new collab project with Greetings from Tuskan is badass. The album is Bike for Three! - "More Heart Than Brains"

what's up SUPER-friend, lol. bumped into a slick Tarantino mash-up on Vimeo. not sure if you've already given it a spin. check it out! http://vimeo.com/4368246

Hello neighbour, nice charts. Good to see a BSBD fan.

Just love Blue Sky Black Death, I see you do too. You really get a glimpse into people's souls when you peep their charts. It's cool.

hi.

Ayo! Check out [track artist=Diplo]Diplo Rhythm[/track]; I'm lovin it and the two vocal tracks that use this instrumental on Decent Work For Decent Pay

hey, thanks for the request. nice mixed charts you've got here!

Yeah, man. I'm lovin' it! I wanted to see him in DC this weekend, but it looks like I'll have to wait for him to come during the Vans Warp Tour this summer. This album is definitely fresh!

also try reverse discourse or diverse recourse from joe beats

I have lean night cinema but haven't listened to it but once or twice...but now I understand what the chopped n screwed stuff is about so will give it another take. some instrumental hip hop stuff I have been digging lately: metaform, emancipator, doctor flake, reanimator your icon inspired me to pay homage to my own favorite pres

dude wow, I just stumbled upon the lil' wayne chopped 'n screwed stuff a week ago -- crazy!

GANGSTA GRIZILLLLZZZZZZ!!!!

Nujabes, man! DEEEEEEEP find. It's expensive to import his albums, but that dude's music is HOT!!!...Now you're making me get all Samurai Champloo nostalgic-like...

sick charts

also go check out Dirty Elegance's "Finding Beauty in the Wretched." might be hard to find let me know if you have problems.

yeah I wish BANGFEST was split into tracks...but oh well it is party nonetheless. more mash-up (in style of girl talk) check out e-603, you can download his album at http://www.e-603.com

ah nicklon i prefer the end of dirty acres. dance for me, georgia, mexico. and since ya dig BSBD i second the 40 winks recommendation.

start with A Piece of Strange, that is their masterpiece. then check out their most recent, Dirty Acres, then backtrack with their debut Will Rap For Food. If you're still hooked, move onto Southernunderground and the Sloppy Seconds mixtapes. I'm talkin' MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

check out 40 Winks and Phaseone

yeah man!

yeah, i actually found this by browsing through the liner notes for a music DVD from StashMediaTV. If you ever get the chance, go to their site and preview one of their DVDs. I wish i could afford a subscription to their releases, but I have to spend money on "responsible things" right now, LoL. But I did download the liner notes for their music video DVD and look up the shorts on YouTube. <PS>YouTube: the poor man's video collection.

yo! Check out this vid. I've been talking about it with some friends on Facebook. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD6VgRUE1y0

yo, you ever listen to the field? i rediscovered this album, "from here we go sublime", on my computer. i listened to it quit a bit around this time last year- you might like it.

i haven't heard slow burning lights, yet. My laptop's A/C adapter is fried and i have to wait for the new one to arrive.

that feeling is called addiction-to-goodness, lol. and there's no rehab for it. <>does my heart good to hear you're really digging them.

yo! I'm finally giving A Heap of Broken Images by Blue Sky Black Death a listen, and DAAAAMMMMNNNN! I thought I liked Late Night Cinema, but this...this is fire! I can almost physically feel the electricity arcing across my brain as my adrenaline is spiking!<>I LOVE Hip-Hop<>

Thanks man, though it's something I would do stylistically, I can't take credit for the avatar. I found it somewhere long ago. I'm glad you can relate to that blurb, music is the fabric of everything really. Or like Fripp said, music is the wine that fills the cup of silence.

i can't do it man...i can't do it...i tried to listen to the new Lil' Wayne Album and I almost passed out. He hurts my brains. And not in the good way--not like ice cream.

thanks man. Yup it cost like $30 for my recorder.

here it is. Starts a few minutes in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-v3qCJvpUM

yeah man I could youtube it. my youtube name is mochilla311. i'll take care of it tomorrow, thanks for showing intrest

i'm definitely glad you're diggin 'em. i talked to these guys the other day and they seem like real cool dudes. They're hungry for exposure and I hope they get the big opportunities they deserve.

hey thanks man

yeah, the roots can be pretty awesome sometimes

Ever need help with hip hop, just ask.

yup, us Jon's gotta stick together haha. but yeah if you need any help with some hip-hop i'm here. check my blog for some good albums.

That's cool I was the opposite, I was all into hip-hop and rap when I was in highschool. Then I got to college and found the awesomeness of rock. Then I moved to Nashville and found the awesomeness of live rock. So rock on bro

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!

awesome!

dangit...i couldn't resist, lol. just got the new Sigur Ros album--i'm givin it a spin right now.

i haven't bought it yet. the only song i've heard so far is Gobbledigook, but from that song alone i was really impressed with their greater incorporation of rythmns to add a robustness and liveliness to their sound. My music budget's kinda been tightened this month, so it might be a while before i get to enjoy more.
