i just really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really wish i could by my fursona, raccoon. i realize i feel im using the label differently to describe my personal experience than others personal experiences, and sometimes i start to wonder if i am imposing myself on something im not. that others describe a feeling of "non-human" disconnection from whatever this "humanity" means to them, not in a lacking of empathy, but... tbh i dont really know. ive subscribed to the idea that being "therian" or neurodivergent or anything pushing myself out of the mainstream makes me more in touch with a humanity, a sympathy, a beauty. i do feel disconnected from the majority of people, i just have maybe psychoanalyzed myself to a point of classifying it as something more human than not, these mental capacities 1/2

2/2 instead of the poetic since of viewing this disconnect as non-human. But i say poetic despite there, i feel, some genuine absolute psychological truth to this stuff, whatever that means. That something crucial happens in our brains that form how we view ourselves internally, and that this is tied, both to my transgender identity, but also this therian identity. I am transgender, i am on hormones, i want to be perceived as female, but despite this, i still have a complex about my face, that i feel uncomfortable with it appearing too feminine, i have a complex about my face as a whole, male or female, and it makes me realize that, potentially, its because id prefer to have a muzzle. something about the androgyny of animals is appealing, in this specific sense, and then i wonder if this kind of facial dysphoria would be alleviated if i had a muzzle. and also, i just think itd be preferable to have a tail and ears that swivel in reaction and claws and whiskers and fur and fangs and
