Hi Dad Just thought I'd share a prediction with you: a program called Spotify (rubbish name I know) is going to revolutionise the way we listen to music. It's beta and invite-only at the mo, but imagine iTunes, but with the files saved on their servers instead of on your computer. To put it another way, imagine the iTunes Music Store, but instead of paying to download the tracks, you just double click them and they play in their entirety over the net. The catch? A 30 second ad-break for every hour of listening or a minimal subscription fee. You can make playlists and play around, but it's not quite as advanced as iTunes yet (no smart playlists, no ability to import playlists) AND it syncs with last.fm. Exciting times non? Bob Dylan's catalogue is on there, even some of the deleted stuff like Knocked Out Loaded. Anyways we can chat more later, Mum says you get back today Look forward to it :o) Jim
