Hello! How are you? I haven't heard from you in ages. :) Well .. except for facebook, which doesn't really count, does it? Anyway, I'm alright! I'm still in Prague and all the work I have to do for uni keeps me incredibly busy - but I can't really complain. :) I can't wait to go somewhere abroad in summer though, I haven't been anywhere for so long. What about you? What have you been up to? I hope you're doing well. :) M.

I think those are all the 'must see' places even though Prague offers much more :) Just really watch your possessions once you are there, there are a lot of pickpockets in Prague! Sadly, I won't be around at the time so we won't be able to meet. I really wish I was, would be cool to meet you. I'm in Žatec, about an hour from Prague. I've never told you I ended up going to Dublin in September, have I? I went to see Dylan Moran at Vicar Street twice and ended up doing more pub-going than sight-seeing. haha Dublin is a wonderful city to be, I'd go back anytime. x

Hello Simon, If you want to do some sightseeing go to Václavské náměstí - Wenceslas Square, the large boulevard where the Velvet Revolution took place. It's a place with lots of shops, restaurants and bars around the area and National Museum is just above the boulevard. Continue to Staroměstské náměstí - Old Town Square, where is the Staroměstská radnice - Old Town Hall with 'Orloj' Astronomical Clock, which is really famous. It strikes hourly and the upper portion reveals the Apostles at two windows. Then go to Karlův Most - Charles Bridge, which is a must see! Unfortunately, It's been under reconstruction for some time now so it won't be really 'it' when you see it - still worth going though! Cross the bridge and it will lead you to Hradčany district where the Prague Castle and really stunning Katedrála Sv. Víta - St Vitus Cathedral can be found.

Wow, a trip to Chicago on your own. That sounds pretty adventurous. You'll have to tell me about it when you're back. Enjoy it, I'm sure you'll have lots of fun. :) I've always dreamt of travelling on my own or just to fling myself somewhere abroad and try to live there for a while. These things can be adventurous and great experience for life. I love the video of you performing, there had to be truly wonderful atmosphere with the people singing along and everything. You're a great at what you do, keep going! I haven't really planned anything for the summer yet. I was thinking of going to a festival in Slovakia because Travis, which one of my favourite bands are going to be there but I don't know... I might just stay here and spend most of my summer nights in pubs with friends.

Hi! Busking's going really good actually, I like it and the money's more than enough to fund my stay here so what more could I ask for! I'm in Galway right now... I didn't like Grafton Street much, too many people... I play here on Shop St. between 6 and 8 when there's very few people so I can play slow songs / Damien stuff and people actually stop and listen sometimes. I'd probably make more money during the day but I wanna keep having fun doing it. Do you busk in Dublin sometimes?

awww...I know :( It's not my fault tho. I'm having to use the computer in the living room, and all my music is on my computer. I have to wait for the new router to arrive. Good luck at the gig!

Hey Simon, nice to hear from you. A very happy new year to you also and best of luck with your music! I didn't know you are a Biffy fan. I saw them open for the Queens last year, but didn't quite catch on what they are all about *shrug*. Also saw Sinead, Swell Season (w/ Colm & Joe) & Mr. Dempsey last fall - it was a good year for gigs!
