haha, i get frustrated with non-thinkers too... and i don't think it's a very good genre at all, but perhaps some people just don't explore music enough? who knows... i just don't think it's a reason to hate a person....if it is, i have a lot of hating to do according to my charts : )

I'm not a fan of 'emo' music, but that statement doesn't seem to be very accurate...large record companies and the media capitalised off the genre and produced some terrible music, sure.. but they didn't create the genre... and you can't really argue that people were forced to like it... the types of people who are going to like whichever sort of music already exist, waiting for it to come along (or perhaps they do just like what is popular among peers).. Hate the system which fabricates and promotes bad 'artists' , not the people who happen to like it (no matter how shallow the interest or reason). : )

I've heard of the movie, but I haven't seen it yet. It's supposed to have been a big influence on later slasher movies, but the same could be said of all giallo, what with the gloved hands and steak knives and such.

Zombi 2 has some badass stuff, like the infamous shark fighting the zombie, and the part where the zombies come out of the conquistadores graves with worms falling out of their eyeballs. Have you seen any of the Blind Dead movies? My favorite of that series has to be the fourth one, with the crabs eating the chopped-up pieces of the sacrificial maiden.

Damn straight bro! It kinda sucks that most people don't know about Argento's films outside of Suspiria. I personally think Inferno and Profundo Rosso are superior works of cinematic art.
