Hey real talk. I've scared myself. (Ps. sorry for defacing the great wall of Caitlin). So I love really cheesy 80's songs because they're catchy and lyrically cute/corny. But I hate top 40's today for simplistic melodies and being lyrically uninspired. But like, am I just like, a big ol' hipster? Because I feel like today's top 40 could be 2020's 80's music and I could just be looking at modern pop in a super negative light.

Guess it's the same reason I only listen to one Jawbreaker album, same with Fugazi and The Promise Ring. I just fell in love with one album rather than the artist - just the right time and place I guess. I actually downloaded some of their stuff a while back... For the life of me I can't figure out why I apparently haven't listened to it. I think it must have went straight onto my MP3 player so i haven't scrobbled it off WMP. At least, that's my story and I'm sticking to it :p

Hi, here are a few recommendations: Neurosis, Dark Castle, Zoroaster, EyeHateGod, Jucifer, Crowbar, Black Tusk. I'd also check out Red Fang who have more a heavy stoner vibe but they have sludge elements. :)
