The BTBAM show was incredible! The Contortionist and Animals as Leaders were fantastic openers, and BTBAM was awesome as always. I was at the center of the front railing with a great view of the stage and the mosh pit, so I know I saw you at some point, lol. I know I have to see BTBAM again the next time they come to town.

I finally gave the album a listen last week, and it was really good! I know some diehard fans will be upset by the more sparing use of harsh vocals, but I dig the presence of more singing. It differentiates Coma Ecliptic from the other work BTBAM has done. And Tommy Rogers definitely sounds better than James LaBrie sounds nowadays.

I saw you on one of the Renard song's shoutboxes, don't remember exactly where lol, but yeah I really love Renard's stuff, specially Darius (Ergosphere is still my favorite album) and FIAB. And for the new Queenstons release, I really like it, but it's really different from any Renard album, it almost sound like it's not a Lapfox release, but that's not a bad thing of course.

Jeeze, mr. Jordan is my favourite IDM producer until now, I definitely love his ambient works A LOT. Kirlian Selections is siply gorgeus, my first album was "Red Extensions Of Me" , not like his best but a good album. have you ever seen him live? HE NAILS EVERYONE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZv3uGUuMEo

That's exactly what it is. I guess if you only ever hung out with non-normal people it would make sense to be surprised that someone things you're weird, but I doubt this is the case 90% of the time. Girls liking the show is completely acceptable, considering it's about rainbows and ponies and stuff. It's a girly show already so it's not completely out of the question for them to enjoy it. Same thing with Disney Princess movies. They're for little girls yes, but nearly every girl of every age loves them. I think they start watching it ironically and then get to the point where they actually enjoy it. I heard the first episode is a two part so you basically have to watch the second part.

Yeah that sort of stuff is pretty weird. At a con is at least better, but at the same time everyone knows you're a furry if you dress up as one even at a con. It's just screaming out for attention, and that's fine and dandy but you should be doing something that actually is worthy of attention and praise, not dressing up like a fox and then getting butt devastated when people tell you you're weird. Bronies do the exact same thing. They act like enjoying a children's show is completely normal and acceptable, and that you're the hateful one not them. Try calling a brony out on anything even if it isn't in an insulting way, and he will get enraged with you.

Hahaha well that's definitely better. I was only asking because of your top played albums.

That's pretty strange. Why would you do that? I mean, dressing up in public and everything.

Heh, yeah, it's very true that there a lot of absolutely ick furpeople out there, but the cool ones ALMOST make up for it. That's good to know about Mediafire though, thanks, I honestly didn't know that! I do agree with you on the whole RIAA/music sharing thing, though, I read up about some of their legislative actions back in the early days of p2p filesharing and there was one case where they pressed something like a $200k fine for downloading 24 songs (I believe it was Capitol v. Thomas?). It's just nuts. If you like music you should ABSOLUTELY support the artist, but c'mon, you shouldn't be able to have your ass sued into oblivion for something small-time like that.

Haha, that's a smart way of thinking about it. A friend introduced me to furry art a few years ago and I guess I never realized that "animal people" were, like, a thing that other people thought was cool too, there are a lot of pretty talented furry artists tbh. And thanks so much for the link, but I probably shouldn't be using Mediafire on my college's network even though Renard seems to be cool with sharing his music. I'll just pick it up on Bandcamp, it's cheap enough that I've certainly got enough in spare change lying around here.

Also, props on the Renard love. I don't think I've really seen a lot of non-furries who are super into him. I've been meaning to check his stuff out myself, but he just has so many projects going on I never know where to start (that Kitsune² album I listened to was pretty decent tho).

Dude, J. Arthur Keenes/Dan McLay is like my #1 musical hero (and Kurt Feldman from Depreciation Guild takes a close 2nd or 3rd). Can't fucking wait to hear the album, though, I know Callum sounded really psyched about it. I gone went and liked yer punky band on The Facebook too, with a name that pun-tastic, how can you go wrong?

Holy cow, you're Mike Porcello from Quirky Love Interest and the Little League Records facebook group, right? I'm on LLR, too! I was just surfing last.fm and randomly clicking links and was like "Hey look at this guy with the rad shibe GIF, I think I'll check out his profile WAIT WHAT I THINK I'VE SEEN THIS GUY."
