No I wouldn't have dreamed of informing you. I'm sure you've bugged Thom Yorke's apartment and knew about their new album months before anyone else. I'm really liking the two songs they've just released, especially Burn The Witch.

I haven't given Exhausting Fire enough listens to really form an opinion but there are some good tracks like Shaping The Southern Sky. I'm not feeling their cover of Paranoid however, and Phil Cope's vocals seems to get more lousy with every new album. What do you think?

Oh yes, Laurent was tremendous. Truly one of the greats. I've never seen a crowd so rawkus at 7am after a 5 hour set.

Hey it's no sweat off my brow if they don't do anything for you, I just like to see bands get a fair trial. :) Glad you took the time to check them out though. On something completely unrelated, I noticed one of my favourite artists - Deaf Center, touring with the likes of Slowdive in London. Seems rather leftfield to put those two together I thought.

I noticed you gave Helms Alee a listen but you chose the obscure split with Young Widows which I find average at best. It's like making someone who is unfamiliar with Radiohead listen to I Might Be Wrong for their first experience!

Really dig the ethereal harmonies in PAPAT4, certainly a winner. CIRCLONT6A and syro u473... are probably my favourites right now.

Loving Syro so far, sure it definitely needs a few listens before everything clicks but I think it's still more accessible than say venetian snares' early works which tend to be complete mindfucks.

It seems legit, I know several tunes were being slapped with copyright infringements on youtube yesterday after I managed to sneak in a preview.

Low in small doses is fine, they have an almost hypnotic quality which I enjoy.

Blood Ceremony and Dead Meadow I would certainly recommend you check out. BC's The Eldritch Dark is one of my fav records put out this year. Dead Meadow have a chilled out hazy dream like quality too their sound.

Yeah i'm listening to shoegaze, but to be honest i don't know if i like Skywave. I need to listen to them more. I bought Slowdive's "souvlaki", it's very nice. I usually purchase albums on amazon, because in Italy music price is very expensive. We got high taxes i think.
