Yeh, don't worry about it - choosing between a couple of albums to give a classic review.

Just had a quick idea regarding the hundreds of thousands of millions of albums that we'll no doubt find no time to cover and eventually miss. Or for those albums that maybe we don't really have the time to do a full-blown review for...perhaps we should make an end-of-the-month round-up feature where we briefly talk about an album (say a paragraph each) and give it a rating just to let people know we've still covered them.

I know that feel brah; I've had back-to-back horrible night's sleeps (or a lack of it) and really awful dreams when I eventually do get any. I can't seem to get into a good creative swing in either art or music, so I'm relying on writing to lift my mood at present. Yeh, I was hoping to cover {Awayland} once I've finished up on Guards' debut.

No no, I don't mind - any reason to get Jake's lazy bum off social life and onto a chair writing something on a computer, haha. And yes, I'm covering Arc even as we speak - should have it done by this evening.

I've already got 4 albums so far for reviewing to kick-off 2013, just to let you know: Guards, Nosaj Thing, Toro Y Moi & Unknown Mortal Orchestra...that is, if you weren't planning to cover them. I assume you've got Yo La Tengo covered though. I'm keeping a close eye on the torrent page of what...thank God for all these freeleech tokens they've given out.

You've reminded me to check Jessie Ware out; oh Father, I have sinned...I showed less attention for an album that looks too pop-ish for thy tastes and knew not of the holy electronic's blessing of it. Also...before I forget [this as well], I'm definitely interested in the two albums you PM'd me (Cutthroat Convention & Surak). I'll check them out...and add them to my to-do list. Currently in the process of covering Emeralds and Hecker & Lopatin's collab record.

So...Alt-J won it. Opinions? I had a feeling they would snatch it since they were the favourites - and I was personally rooting for Django Django - but I still think their debut was great regardless.

I was thinking of setting up an MRD-linked twitter account...probably choose the name MRDJordan. Just think it would be great if we could implement some form of social interraction outside of the blog in the [unlikely] event that we get popular enough people wil actually be bothered to take attention to us. Yep, I'll do Holy Other as soon as I'm done writing up Shed's album (more Warp record loveliness). And yes, you can do Centipede Hz - I wasn't that impressed with it on first and repeated listen. I'd gave it a 7.0 or something within that region.

Do you want to continue in the same pattern and do the album reviews for both The Killers & Bloc Party when they're released? I've decided on doing Twin Shadow, Lorn & Saint Saviour next (I only just realized recently SS comes from just down the road from where I am, so I'm all over that). Not sure about Frank Ocean - my hip-hop knowledge and taste isn't that good but I think it would be good to cover it. How are you on that?

Yeh, everything's cool - surprised by how easy it is to edit and place everything into a submission on the blog. What exactly do you mean by justify? I didn't know my entries looked different, care to ellaborate just so I know what to do next time. As we speak I'm running both a good album and not-so-good album on the media player(s). I present to you: Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (good)...and Linkin Park (not-so-good) - apparently the album just-this-minute leaked so I'm hoping to get a review of that up ASAP and see where that leads us views-wise.

I don't know whether you noticed, but Sigur Ros' new album has leaked - shouldn't be too hard to find, if you haven't got it yet. It's only V4 though (less than 192kb) but I think for the time being - considering it's a month before actual release - that's more than acceptable. Hope it's cool with you, but I'd like to review it for the blog.
