Well I was going to work on the artwork right now, but my mind is a little shot and the computer I'm on right now doesn't have a very good art editing device. Also the form of art they've done is very swish and I don't want to damage it too much with some inconsistent scribbles. Ah yes! Darkspace are one of my favourite spacey black metal acts, I've always liked Black Metal when it manages to create some cold and open atmospheres like Darkspace and others of the like do. Has been one of the main reasons I've usually preferred black metal over death metal.

As for the cover of the apskaft symphony I'm struggling to decide on what to add to it yet, but I have an idea and should be finished with the cover by at least friday; if that's ok of course.

I know. I'm also still catching up with connections and messages and friend lists. This internet stuff gets pretty busy doesn't it? Interesting thoughts about a texture spectrum. I've been trying to accomplish something in story writing with a scale similar to a musical but based on narrative structure coherence. (Chaotic soup of words at one end of the scale, slightly more coherent association of words further up the scale, turning into stream-of-consciousness, then dreamlike narrative and eventually turning into naturalistic and fully grounded story structure at the far end. In other words, imagine a piano keyboard with chaotic word soup at one end and neat little stories at the other end. In the middle is Finnegan's Wake. One side, moving from Finnegan's Wake toward chaos is Dadaistic use of randomity. Versions of pataphysics might be found at various places in the scale. Dreamlike poetry and prose nearer the naturalistic end, but not as far along as journalism or science theories.

Well the theory exam went rather well in my opinion (except for me claiming that doloroso means lively when it actually means mournful) and my resits went rather well as well seeing as I managed to get my "U" up to an "A". Say, you wouldn't happen to know how to connect artists to a group would you? I decided to make a group but I haven't a clue how to connect artists and I'm headless-chickening the whole idea.

Well hello!! It has indeed been a while. The exams were a mixed bag to be honest (questions on the transcendence of God as a contradiction were not the questions I was hoping for as there is very little you can write about them) but I (apparently) have a grade 5 theory exam tomorrow, and I only found out on Monday. The plus side is music theory is incredibly easy for me so it shouldn't really be an issue for me. As for your movie I watched it about a month ago at 3am and I was a little out of it at the time but I enjoyed it. I do however have to watch another 3 times before I have an opinion on it; also I need to watch it at least once when I'm not pondering how a lamp post could potentially fall on my house. (which it could) How was your exams? If you had them...it's uni so I'm assuming there must be something.

oh yes, thank you, I would be pleased if you could send me the Scarlatti Sonata when you have a chance. This recording of 'Nuages Gris' I've listened to is from the Eyes Wide Shut OST which is really a great album because it collects songs\tracks of very different musical genres\background

Well, I'm not an expert when it comes to different\more or less correct interpretations of classical music tunes, but I'm totally with you on this. When it is played faster, it sounds a little messy and it's as though there's something wrong with it... And yep, I'm currently into Lydia Luch and enjoying her more than I thought it would be possible.(is that correct English or I'm up for another slaughter?) But I think I will get sum Scarlatti soon.
