i really like it but i can't get into his more energetic stuff like kronos and beekeeper. to me it sounds like his voice just doesn't fit over the more hard-hitting songs. the rest is amazing tho, really nice atmosphere. i still prefer dear tbh. got some recs?

Yeah, there's always a few open minded people with different taste out there that you can get cool stuff from. I mostly use /mu/ to get into genres I'm not into yet as there's a few people with specialized taste, and hope to be able to offer that to others too on Folk Metal, and hopefully other genres in the future too.

That's the problem. Most people come to /mu/ for shitposting, circlejerking over the same 200 albums, and feels, then expect to be spoonfed albums that are clones of the 200 they already like.

I used to and still get it every now and then but most people that want me to stop liking what I like are either aware of my existence and don't reply to every thing I say anymore or have me filtered because they don't like people that don't listen to the /mu/ essentials all day.

It's good :D Surprisingly so. It's like In Absentia combined with Heritage. There's some bits that drag out a little but otherwise damn sweet, specially the opening track
