WELL THE GREAT MYSTERY IS FINALLY SOLVED Last.FM does not scrobble anything with HTTP in the tags, apparently. This change was made in 2015, presumably with no notification, as I imagine it was some sort of security-related update? ANYWAY, THUS, as literally every one of the thousands of often-amazing Commodore 64 remixes on Remix.KWED.Org has its album listed with the full HTTP of the webpage, well, there you go. Thousands of songs I have listened to over the last 11 years were just ignored completely. Amazing. What is the purpose of this service if accuracy is not the purpose

I know I am talking on my own page but like Sometimes Last.FM decides specific songs are just not real and ignores them when I play them, and that kind of seems non-ideal from a "doing what it is supposed to do" perspective. Like no matter how many times I keep putting FeekZoid's "Orchestral Synthasaurus Ninja" in my playlist and playing it Last.FM still ignores it and scrobbles the songs before and after it. So it claims I have not listened to it since 2014, the last time it accepted it before just deciding it hates this particular track and ignoring it forever

Last.FM: Getting Worse At Actually Scrobbling Every Year, Yet For Some Reason I Keep Using It Seriously, it even knows I have listened to this song 107 times, yet it is not showing up on my page while I listen to it, while every song I played before it did, and the song I played after it did. Sigh

Looks like my time on Last.FM may be coming to an end, as the Scrobbler is beginning to only work sporadically regardless of the platform I listen to music on. Though I would really appreciate it if I could get to 2017 without it completely dying, a delightful DECADE OF NEEDING DATA ON MY MUSIC LISTENING HABITS

I feel it is important for posterity to acknowledge that, if Last.FM somehow tracked YouTube, my recent plays would include dozens of plays each of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance," Chill's cover of KISS' "I Was Made For Lovin' You," Black Sabbath's "Supernaut," Rational Youth's "In Your Eyes," Royce Da 5'9" & Raekwon's "Give Up Your Guns," Garbage's "Cup of Coffee," and F.P.I. Project's "Rich in Paradise" (though I do have an .mp3 of that, somewhere).

Ok, so today at work we were to listening to music on a coworker's ipod to test the qualify of a VoIP phone call. In order, I heard A-ha's Take on me, Falco's Der Kommisar, and then an Al Stewart song. I asked my co-worker "Uhh is this Al Stewart?" and he said "Yeah! Do you like him?" I reflexively blurted out Hell no (because that song kind of sucked) and he was sort of insulted, but then I explained that I knew only one other person who could've concocted such a mix.

... and according to the wiki history, obviously you agreed with me that there was room for improvement. What you wrote about Frédéric Motte was much better than the stuff I took away.
