I have, and I love it. It really is utterly insane, and I'm taking to it very well considering my favourite album of theirs is Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?, which is basically Kevin Barnes on his own, being depressing.

And yes it is; We have the facts is my favorite Death Cab album. :( Ben Gibbard isn't actually played by anyone at the moment; he's just quite crudely photoshopped in at the moment, and when you see them live, you can see how the shadows are all wrong.

They were brilliant! I'd heard from two different people they weren't very good live, but those people were blatantly lying. But I'm extremely disappointed with their token gesture of four songs between all of the photo album, something about airplanes, and We have the facts and we're voting yes, particularly as Lowell, MA wasn't one of the four. I can't believe you ever remembered Narrow Stairs as anything less than Amazing, Marcus! It pisses all over Plans imho. Bixby Canyon Bridge and I will Possess your heart were both pretty epic live.

I've just purchased GbV's Suitcase today...I'm looking forward to delving into it this evening :D

Oh and Bee Thousand is my favourite album of all time as well.

No worries :D I especially like the version of 'A Hand to...' on the bonus disk. As for DTROGD, it's probably my least favourite OR album at the moment...for some reason, it just never really grabbed me. Although I did end up enjoying 'It Ends With a Fall' a lot more after seeing them play it live. So in conclusion, maybe you should buy it. :)

I thought thety were fantastic, and the venue was ace too :) My friends weren't so keen, but they only knew an earlier album and didn't expect them to be so upbeat.

i just havent listened to them in a while, but i do like them. i just think they're a bit overrated, they're treated like Gods here (but maybe that's just because of the name..:)) other fine blegium bands.. hmm, i like everything tim vanhamel (ex-deus) en mauro do (evil superstars, millionaire, and many others). and i think you'll like mintzkov too, the singers voice sounds very similar to barm
