That's a good idea, I would have happily volunteered for a couple of hours on a Saturday, but it's too late now because they've already announced it. Yeah I'm just taking my time and doing enjoyable things like actually learning. I'm quite looking forward to starting (not all but some of) next years syllabus. How about you? They haven't given a specific reason, but I'm guessing that they're just not getting enough business to validate keeping the premises. Richard Dawson is going to continue selling the remaining stock on his website, but I don't know what he'll do after that. I already guessed that something was up when Ben Jones lost his job there, because they're friends and he'd worked there for ages. Maybe Richard will just continue it as an internet business.

alt. vinyl is shutting down on the 24th of June. They're having a send-off and sale on the afternoon of Saturday the 18th if you want to go. There'll be drinks and live music. It's sad to see it go.

I haven't been able to watch it yet. The myspace video player is blocked by the school network and my internet speed at home is so slow that I can only watch the first 10 seconds. I can't practice this weekend or the next, but I think that during half term we could have one. I have exams coming up within the next couple of weeks so I'll probably be working for them for the next two weeks.

You don't need to buy tickets in advance. Apparently the chances of it selling out are so minimal that they're not even selling tickets for it; you can just pay on the door.
