Call yourself a geek?! :) That's a man who did a job which I unexpectedly ended up doing last Saturday night. And apparently I did it quite well, as I've been asked to go back and do it again! :)

Bert and I concur that David Cook was the best, even if he ripped of Chris Cornell completely unforgivably. At least Kristy's the only contestant owning up to outright audience manipulation. Gained a smidgeon of respect for her tonight, actually!

And inquiring minds want to know: what song would YOU sing from the year you were born? :)

As it goes I rather liked Brooke's. Though I don't think she realises what a creepy stalkerish song it is. Ha. Me and George were saying it wasn't a great week for anyone especially though. Bring on Dolly!

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! That's the sound of me getting Stung over and over again. Ok, twice. ;)

How well you know me. :) Hee, now I have an image of them all eating bowls of poutine while wearing monster masks and waving big axes around.

Natalia writes that Murray is mixing the album now. She says no restraint, huge and crazy depth, elevated to new heights and this album is going to destroy you. I promise. I'm dribbling. Where can I start a queue to get destroyed?

I think they edit the voting information out altogether, we don't even get to hear Ryan say 'get on the phones NOW, bitches!' or however he puts it. Is it Dolly week? I've been looking forward to Dolly week.

Then London woke up, someone from Last.fm went out and flew around the world backwards, and now the charts are as they were a couple of days ago. It's been a blast! :)

You wouldn't have noticed unless you were looking at your overall charts at the time. When they updated around midnight our time, everyone lost all data pre-2008. And people on the forums who don't understand different timezones were going apeshit because no-one from Last was answering. You have mutilated my charts! ... How can anyone judge me now!

The stats apocalypse is over! God but the forums were hilarious before they locked all the threads down.

I really don't know what to say, bar thank you very much for remembering my feverish temperament whilst on a family day out. Was it as much fun as Disney would have you believe? I got a LOT of Hannah Montana viewing done this weekend also!!

Cool. I got She & Him. I love Zooey Deschanel already and M. Ward's Transistor Radio is a cool album. So I'm sure I'll enjoy it. :)

Thanks! Fortunately I do have a macbook, but I still have to investigate the app. more. Did you pay for it or not do the whole thing? I appreciate you sharing your knowledge!

[track artist=The Beatles]A Day In The Life[/track] in 90 seconds? Hilarious! I do like Michael, but he has an annoying habit of not finishing his words, so even the bits he sang didn't make any sense: 'lucky man who made the gray' (grade) and 'from the House of Law' (Lords). And Paula's more confused than ever - ha, I love this show!

Bloody hell, Seacrest is about 95% Botox this week! And Simon keeps winking at him... gonna be a fun night!

No, I wasn't... but that message always appears when I go and look at your iTunes library, for some reason! I popped over to see whether you already have the old M. Ward album I've got knocking about (yes you do), and whether you like Gnarls Barkley much. The Odd Couple will be on my disk in a bit!

...I didn't get the second album, but a (then) colleague used to play it quite a lot, and you're right – it's basically more of the same. I listened to a few previews of the third one, and it did sound different, so I admit I may have been a bit harsh. But I'm nothing if not capricious in my opinions ;)

That boy loves his spoilers! There's still an hour to go till we see this week's live shows over here, and we don't get the results until tomorrow... there's just no stopping him!

Can't give anything AI away for fear of Bert stumbling upon it here, am afraid... I have to say, though, that am quite surprised FOX coughed up the cash for Beatles night two weeks in a row. As for Radiohead theme night, would LOOVE to hear the contestant medley on that one!!

And tell that faggot Flounder where to go while you're at it!! All hail, Queen Ursula! *clicks fingers in moment of intoxicating fabulosity*... I'm sorry, I have a five day weekend, you know, am quite excited... and an AI prediction of mine came true last night!!

Any thoughts on that fine album you have there, Brad? Needless to say, [track artist=The Dears]Heartless Romantic[/track] is the one for me!

Darn right. Meanwhile, Swing Low Sweet Chariot gets sung at every rugby match over here. And I Should Have Known Better would fit right in to the current fortnight of American Idol. ;) But the great thing about the album is, old songs or new songs, everything sounds timeless. Really brilliant find.

God yes. I recognise more than a couple of the songs, are they all standards or is there original material mixed in too?

Will have to check that out, Brad, but well done in highlighting potential similarities between two of my favorite things in the world ever! I've always seen Little Mermaid as a call for sexual tolerance amid late '80s Republican America myself... just read the Pitchfork review on Seventh Tree though, and am officially riled up! The arseholes...

You're going to love the album, I think. Well I hope Archuleta has sorted himself out or I may have to stop watching Idol. It was yet more Lennon & McCartney, wasn't it?

I have four 5-star tracks on Gang of Losers as well, it's pretty obvious from my currently-displayed charts which ones. :) Hope you enjoy EOAHBS, it's VERY Brit-rock! Weird discovering a band's development in reverse order, isn't it...

I can imagine Michael Johns emoting his way through it now. Or maybe Ramiele doing a sweet cocktail lounge version. :)

Los Ang? You *have* to fit in a visit to the Getty. My only other hot tip Amoeba Hollywood aside is Pann's diner Inglewood. I'm envious, I'd like to be off to Paradise too!
