Brilliant! I love it when Paula goes off the rails! Er, sorry, yes, I mean it's very sad.

Aw, that's really nice. Zooey and M. make me feel all warm and fuzzy. And the Tengo! Blimey. I do like Syesha, you know. I also find her shallow and false. Full of contradictions, me. :) George is doing alright, he's job hunting and going for interviews at the moment, and off to the Med for a holiday on Saturday.

That's a mighty song indeed. So, last night I went to the Tuesday karaoke. George was getting up to sing and he said which Idol contestant did I dare him to be. Would it be Brooke, asking if he could start again? Or would it be Syesha, breaking into a great big insincere grin at an inappropriate point in the song? And gawd bless him, he managed both! :-D

I really can't believe how empty my life is without an iPod in it. I feel like my dog died or something. LOL

Ah, did you spot my swift response? I get email notification of comments on my journals. :-) I did read your Japancakes journal and enjoyed it, but I had nothing to add - sorry! :(

Yeah I emigrated over here about 14 years ago and all my music influence came from late eighties in college in Ireland.

Hee, that's the giveaway that it's a fake - ALL London pubs are FULL of wankers! :-) And yep, was home about 4.30am and couldn't sleep straight away after all the evening's excitement. It's a tough job but someone's got to do it! :D

My Mondays are so much more painful since my Saturday nights got so much longer and madder. So hooray for holiday pics! Nice shots. I especially like the blazing sunlight in 'Hollywood and Highland', and all the ones of Seraphine stuffing her face - blimey, the girl can eat! And dinosaurs - woo!! I like dinosaurs. Is that when you thought of me? Apart from ye olde London pub, obviously. ;)

Anyway, MORE TO THE POINT, Heroes season 2 started here tonight. George has popped round for the evening and we spent most of the time laughing at a) Kensei's TERRIBLE British accent, and, even more hilarious, the Irish dockers at the end - I don't think we heard any of the last scene after the first two lines, we were pissing ourselves so much! X-D

Well, now we've seen the American Idols singing Lloyd Webber - amazing! Not the complete car crash I was hoping for, but hey!

No, I had not heard about that one...hahaha. You were [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBGIQ7ZuuiU]Rick Rolled![/url] My gf/wife/fiancee/so/partner thinks that I'm a bit obsessed as well, but I'm just out to document my listening habits, as strictly as I can. I think she understands.

I'm getting my 1500 tracks back, as quickly as possible. In this case, I am scrobbling on two computers at the same time 24-7 until I am back to my proper level. Since I don't know what tracks I lost, I don't want these random tracks to affect my top 50 in any significant way, thus the random and obscure tracks. Am I a last.fm nazi? Yes.

Piccadilly, not bad! Premieres are usually in Leicester Square which is just round the corner...

Isn't it just! :-) And as for Here Comes The Serious Bit... in fact the whole album feels like it's about my life, which I suspect is one reason for liking it so much. :D

That movie's got a great marketing campaign, yesterday I kept seeing people in central London wearing big sandwich boards, printed to look home-made, that say things like I hate you Sarah Marshall!

As for Russell Brand, he's a strange one. Yep, it was impossible to live in the UK in 2007 and NOT be aware of him, he was on every single tv programme ALL the time. And there's a lot about him that's incredibly annoying, but he does seem to be funny and intelligent as well.

It's great thanks - just had a second listen and the hooks are settling nicely in my ear. I don't think I'll get quite as obsessed with it as I am with the new one, but I really like it. Giddy Stratospheres and You Could Have Both are my initial favourites...

As for designated drivers, you know I've never learned to drive in my whole life! After a wild night out it's the night bus for me. All the buses run 24 hours in London, it's brilliant!

Nice 'do! Thanks in advance for the album, I checked your library and thought you might be nice enough to share. Or to put it another way, I don't care if you were offering it or not, HAND IT OVER, BIATCH! Er, sorry, I don't know where that came from, someone keeps calling me a bad boy. ;-D

Ha! I mean, Gah!! Why would someone DO something like that! I've got quite a few random old Long Blondes tracks on my hard drive, I discovered last week, which I've played once and then forgotten about! So the whole first album would be nice. :) I can send you the Shadow Puppets if you're not already getting it from toady...

And [artist]These New Puritans[/artist] are very cool too. Don't forget them! (Although they're not on the same level of obsession as my main squeeze of the moment. I listened to Couples THREE times yesterday! Madness!) I'm glad you liked Foals - to be honest I really haven't managed to get into them, so it's nice to know my listening wasn't in vain.

Yo Brad! It's finally Elbow time in America I see. :-) I'm sure you liked it! Now then, have you listened to the new [artist]The Long Blondes[/artist] album yet? It's just, I've been recommending it to everyone frantically and no-one has got back to me yet. I'm worried it might be just me. ;'-( Now it DID take me a couple of listens to get hooked, but then... well my weeklies tell the full story.
