Got to see them live at a musical festival in 2015 and it was the best crowd work I’ve ever seen. They got a crowd who mostly only knew them from two songs to bop to every single song they played. A truly transcendent experience that I still often think about to this day.

it's actually funny that you mention Severance, because it's really the only t.v. show that comes anywhere close to competing with Twin Peaks for the title of best of all time for me. that said, Twin Peaks keeps the crown so far. The scene from twin peaks is final scene of season 2 finale. Janet Jackson’s run from “control” to “damita jo” is perfect imo. “Velvet rope” specifically is my third favorite album of all time and saved my life during the hardest time of my life. Its truly a game changing album.

For jazzy work I recommend “sketches of brunswick east”. For soulful smooth work “changes”. For a little bit of everything “omnium gatherum”. For metal “infest the rat’s nest” and “petrodragonic apocolypse”. For their work thats generally considered their best try “nonagon infinity” and “i’m in your mind fuzz”. They are one of my favorite bands of all time, top 10, so Im really hyped to see em live
