Lol, yeah I just caught that it wasn't scrobbling for 6 months. I'm like, welp. I forgot this existed anyway. Also I listen in places it wouldn't capture anyway. Walk it off, snack fairy!

Lol I have no idea how it chooses which bands to display there. Maybe it has something to do with what in common was listened to the most over some set time period. Hmm, actually I never even notice when it does change lol. Anyway I remember us talking about VP awhile ago and I said something like they were a band I've heard of but hadn't listened to. So you either sent me a song or linked me to Youtube (Both! Same time!) and I liked them enough that I got what I think was their newest album at that point. Good times. Good band. I've really slacked on last.fm. I've been completely muting the cpu a lot. I'm just riding my roller coaster. Uh huh. Yeah.

And for the last part of my 3-run homer: Metallica had pulled ahead by about 20 songs the other day but when I just looked now they were behind by 8. I don't know how it happened.

I just noticed that Metallica and Megadeth currently have exactly the same number of tracks played on my last.fm. That will probably have changed by the time you see it but it was an interesting surprise for me. I thought Metallica had completed the comeback and passed them, buh no!

Listening to the muzak. Hearing people scream. Sitting in the waiting room reading crappy magazines. This is it, pal. Rooooot Canaaaaal! My molars are impacted. I'm getting gum disease. Something something fillings. Got 12 cavities. And then the rest of the song.

I can't say I've ever really had a problem with it before. Also, all I have to do to make the shout box appear is click on the shout number by the name. I think it may be a last.fm trying to make pages load faster thing.

When you visit your page does your shout box ever not show up? Sometimes I scroll down on mine and it's gone. Weird. I think I miss it when it does that. ::tear::

From what I've heard diamond weapons/items are some of, if not the strongest in the game, right? So that would make sense for it to be so rare. ::makes a diamond coffee table:: What do you mean I wasted my diamonds?! I didn't remember gold was in the game until I read that the other day. Isn't there some other way to make the carts move? Gold strips/redstone and manual pushing sound pretty close to horrible, lol. It'd be awesome if you could build a race track. Sure the car on the track you built best would win every time but come on, guy! And total psh to going into creative world. Where's the fun in building if a creeper can't surprise you and destroy half of it?! Unless you had a really good idea and didn't want to mess around... like, uh, something just to look at be proud of and not play in. For Youtube hits and profit?!

Haha. I had no idea. I just randomly stumbled on some Minecraft tips earlier and the only ones I remember is to save your diamonds for... stuff, and save your gold for rail tracks or something like that. So I was thinking if we could make gold rail tracks that played a Metallica song then wow we would never get to do anything ever for the next six years due to time constraints.

If you build a musical theme park in MC then I may just have to come over. Or a field of dreams...with roller coaster and creepers. Oh right, music talk here... So... how about them guitar chords? How's that working out for you?

What are you saying? This isn't a video game website? What happened? Where am I? Father? is that you? I'm in terrible trouble and I need help. What is democracy? ... So yeah, that last part was from Metallica's One video, in case it rang a bell for you but you couldn't put your finger on it. I don't know why but snippets of the movie clips they use in that video randomly pop in my head. Hell a lot of bands lyrics do that, too. Or just a tune that I can only half figure out for a while, lol. Sometimes it's annoying cause I want to listen to whatever it is but I can't figure it out immediately. Does that happen to you a lot, too? By the way, I'm talking music on the music website now, right? Did I make you proud? Please tell me I made you proud. Some kind of faaaace. This face lives.

Back up to SUPER. Reminds me of Killer Instinct and to a lesser extent Marvel vs Capcom 2. Eventually we need to play more of that game and, you know, learn it. lol. Then maybe we can see more of the cool stuff it has to offer. But...so much work! Oh, and I keep seeing NBA Jam ads in older magazines -- it's just being released on the consoles! Finally! Anyway, that brought back memories of our NBA Jam season. We need to beat that. But I lost it all with my old computer so you'll have to save me work and send me everything, lol. Well, at least the save file. The rest depends on my laziness. Like pulling out the 360 controller for my PC. That'll take me a few years. No hurry.

Someone who doesn't like or at least appreciate the greatness of Cornell, Soundgarden, TOD, Audioslave & all of his bandmates isn't really worth thinking about. But I enjoy a good bitching now and again so maybe they have some use. I'm happy you have someone that is open to listening to them. Most people I know like to ignore them as if they're the plague, its frustrating. Maybe I need cooler & better friends. I think it would be hard to find a chick who loves Soundgarden or Chris as much as I do. They're a band that I think most people would love if they would be given the chance but not everybody deserves to hear them. (Not enough guitar solos probably.) Hopefully someday your wife will love & appreciate them half as much as you do now maybe.

One thing that is irritating is when you know someone would like a band such as Soundgarden yet they don't listen to them. Then eventually they do & they've forgotten that you had ever told about them. I always have heard poor excuses in regards to people's dissatisfaction with Audioslave. If you don't like Cochise or Like A Stone you're probably a fool. I'm mildly annoyed by Morello's solos as they're hard to differentiate between a lot of the time; still that should not detract from the rest of the band. I think its safe just to say most people are annoying cunts. Especially those hating on anything Cornell related. With one possible exception being Scream (although I thought that was better than most pop) .

It's extremely annoying having someone who doesn't know a damn thing about your favorite band talk about them. They're satisfied with knowing one measly song, therefore they don't need to know any more. I assume it has to deal with the laziness/complacency of the average music fan. It's so simple nowadays with YouTube too, there should be no excuse for not knowing more. What's your opinion on Audioslave? I think they're not given enough credit, they're a great band but of course no match for Soundgarden.

They're always progressing. I love what you said about them with the three bands comment. They had the brief punk phase before they really ever released anything besides maybe a few songs like All Your Lies. The heavy metal phase with LTL & BMF. Then their sound changed not drastically but a good amount with the last three albums now. Its really hard to go against BMF isn't it? I love SU but its gotten to the point where I just ignore BHS. Its a fantastic song & the album is an all time great album but BHS shouldn't be a career defining song. Do you ever feel that way about BHS? Or has so much time passed it doesn't matter to you anymore what people say?

Whoa your avatar is a creeper here too. Now I have to watch out and make sure you don't come up behind me and explode all over the place in multiple places at the same time! Anyway, since Soundgarden has come in to save the day I think you just might make it to 100k by the end of the year and keep your pace. I think you're on pace now to crack it, but if your listening numbers start dropping it's going to be close. Should I be scared?

I think it would be foolish to say its as good with their previous three albums, especially in this stage. Especially, it may be a biased point of view, but they're three of the best rock (or music overall) albums I've heard. It's great but all time great I'm not convinced of that but its way too early for a definitive answer on that question. I haven't listened to King Animal now in maybe a week or two so I shall get on that. I'd agree with you on the first two albums being hit & miss. But of course there are some great tracks on them. Do you have a favorite of album of theirs or is it hard to pick favorites between them?

One thing I hate and it hardly ever fails when I get a new album, I tend to listen to it a lot right away. That's a fault on my part, since no rational person would accuse Soundgarden of not having an eclectic range of songs. So I have to try to add older Soundgarden stuff or material from other bands. It's a fantastic album and I don't want to get sick of it in less than two weeks. Where do you think it will rank amongst the other five albums? Or would you say its a bit premature to measure it up against the others?

I was feeling the same way not really being sure if they'd sound like the "old Soundgarden" I had heard a lot of different things regarding the direction they were taking. It's always been challenging to put a label on them so I wasn't too shocked about what I heard. My immediate reaction to Non State Actor was mixed, it grew on me. Much like DOTU, I didn't care much for it at first but it may be my favorite album of theirs now. I think its a nice mix of all the albums, as Been Away Too Long definitely seems like it would feel at home on Badmotorfinger. With Taree & Bones of Birds on DOTU maybe Rowing on Superunknown. I'm not sure if I was expecting a little rust from them but my expectations were highly exceeded. Think you'll get burnt out with it soon or are you still enjoying it too much yet?

I think its kind of foolish & just a waste of time in general to try to compare the songs on King Animal with other song from Cornell's solo stuff or even Audioslave's. Yet I found myself doing that at first. I guess its just too hard to sit back and enjoy the music without putting a label on it. I really hope they do some dates in the midwest and not just on the coasts. Do you think it will end up being your favorite album of the year? Looks that way for me.

Exactly they had nothing to prove by making a new album! We were lucky enough to get one. Let alone one as fantastic as King Animal. The complaints about it are quite annoying. Although one would think Cornell & company would be able to satisfy anyone's musical needs. Seems fairly short sided to say its not good simply because the songs " all sound alike" or "aren't heavy enough". Get out of here with that shit. Have they started plans for a full fledged tour of the states & not just select dates in Europe like they've been doing?

Why thank you I appreciate that. By looking at your plays, I'm glad to see someone's also appreciating the new Soundgarden album as much as I am.

Yeah, I was surprised to see myself at 90k. I'm wondering if I can get to 100k before my 5 year site anniversary. It's-a going to be close...or far away. Maybe halfway there would be more realistic. Depends how much I'm at the computer. ::rambles:: Soooo...Starcraft?
