it's not an escort, man. it's someone to share the experience with. going to shows alone has always feels awkward to me. yeah it's a good lineup and all the bands rock but i'd only be going for tbr. the others are good bands but not in my library and i did see his list. i thought that was pretty rad.

haha a 45 year old in the pit? i saw a 55-60 year old in a dopamines pit and he was destroying, it was great. i'm just old enough to remember tape players. i had a portable one i'd carry around with me until i was about 6/7. i remember vhs players then getting a dvd player when i was 10. still have a bunch of vhs tapes but no player. we HAD a mom/pop shop in town. i'd order albums from there. usually ones with gross covers like cannibal corpse so that when they received it, they'd freak out. eventually they stopped making money and started making every CD $1 and people still didnt but them (they had horrible selection which is why i always ordered) and now they're out of business. the internet makes music much more accessible which is great but it seems music was a bit more special in older times because of the rarity of finding certain things.

right on, man. hope you get to go. it's like $25 for that show here. i might being going but i just blew a lot for warped tour tix for me and my brother. aquabats, reel big fish, big d and goldfinger will be there. plus he likes those metal bands with breakdowns. figured that'd be a good bday present for him. not cheap to go to warped anymore.

Happy Saturday Dickass!!! I regret to inform you that I am typical in absolutely every way... Not saying i'm not all kinds of crazy or anything, cuz that would be crazy talk frrrealz. We're chatting on the internet right now, what are you getting at? Oh shows... Ottawa Explosion is in a couple weekends, usually I hate festivals but this one promises to be all kinds of awesome, so I bought a wristband cuz i'm a super looo. You got anything planned besides insub? I never travel for bands... don't know why i'm never doing that but i'm not. The fest is the only one that tempts me slightly. And even then, I don't have any friends that like punkrock, Gainesville solo just sounds sad to me. How's that for a ramble? <3 K

I'm really looking forward to it. Last time the Queers played, their set seemed a bit abbreviated. Someone kept bashing the mics or something. Not rip-off level short, just didn't seem like they were really feeling it.

Hi there, I'm rok2slayer's BFF, so I thought 'hmm lets leave Phillypunk a shout'. You have a really awesome library, especially the punk stuff, and I couldn't find much stuff that you haven't listened to already. Especially surprised by your many plays of this small Dutch punk band The Apers. You probably know of this band, but I couldn't find them in your library, so here's it anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csQDhwLX8XM Another Dutch punk band. Definitely the most famous one. If you have any suggestions for me: let me know! :-)

Hi. :) I'd say check out Meat Is Murder first, though a few of my favorite Smiths songs are off the album Louder Than Bombs. I know what you mean; it's fun exploring as many bands and genres as possible. There's so much material out there and always more to be released.

hi there! i did a doom/sludge band back in high school, we recorded a couple of tapes, did a couple of gigs but it wasn't all so good... so there wasn't a good response from people, we had an artist block and we hadn't got over it ever since haha. hey Dan Vapid's pretty good, eh? Cheers

I found out the Gaslight Anthem is coming to Cleveland (FINALLY), just bought my tickets to that yesterday... and they're playing with the Bouncing Souls... MY HEAD IS FREAKING EXPLODING OVER HERE... so exciting...

being a mom is totally bitchin'! My son is going to be 6 months old next week! Time is flying by! I'm getting pictures of us done soon of him and I wearing matching Ramones shirts... lol. and for my birthday I'm getting my baby tattoo started... I really love him and I love being a mom!!! (I sound stupid, I know... lol) any good shows? I saw Rollins in Columbus last month, he was doing a spoken word, was amazing, as usual. Which this is the part I tell you I actually live in Ohio... lol, I've never been to Columbus, and I'm hoping to go next summer! I'm still in school, graduating in December, so after that I'm going to try and get some traveling in during the spring/summer!!! I've never used SoulSeek, looks like that's something I need to check out? Thanks for stopping by! Next time I won't forget to reply back!!!

Yeah, the times I've seen them Kody seems more to himself. Miguel is a real cool guy, loved talking to him and hearing his stories. I don't know about you but these newer pop punk bands such as The Story So Far, Broadway Calls, and many more like that annoy the shit out of me. I tell people I like pop punk and they think I mean that stuff. More often than not, now I say ramonescore just to get rid of the confusion. Which doesn't really help seeing as they don't know what that is. I haven't a soulseek but I'll be sure to see what it's about. Kepi ghoulie shows sounds badass, man.

Yeah, seems there is a small pop punk community on this site where everyone has everyone added. Things recently have been pretty cool. My bud and I were hanging out in the back of Gilman last weekend and Ray from Teenage Bottlerocket came by and asked us if we wanted to smoke a joint. So we smoked with him and Brandon. One of the coolest nights in my life I must say. How have things been over there?

I could not stand that Dopamines thing. Cutting each other off just to repeat what someone else had already said. Their music is great but even live they bullshit too much. Play your fucking music and get off the stage. I hate when bands socialize on stage. You can do that on your eight hour van ride to the next show.

i've only downloaded "Babylon" but i haven't listened to it too much yet.Just installed soulseek on my new laptop but it's been so long since the last time that i used it that i need some time to refresh my knowledge about it.i don't even remember how reach a user from his username The Manges are good live but they ALWAYS play the same setlist and if you get to see them too often (like more than two times in a year) you could start to hate them. A lot of friends of mine flight to Philadelphia for those shows too, that must have been a kickass show!I wish i could see the Screeching Weasel live too. They booked a show in Italy 2-3 of time but they never really came,it sucks.

That's the same to me,we listen to the same bands and i was surprised when i got into Alkaline Trio because they're so different from "my kind" of music but they got me almost immediately. I still can't get what makes them so good to me,they sing about broken hearts, depression and stuff that a lot of bands sing about but they communicate me something more that i haven't been able to define yet. I'm sorry even if i'm not sure that i completely understood what you told me,was the danger related to you particular situation or what?Anyway i'm pretty sure that i'm not dangerous for you at all. (sorry for my poor english! )

sounds like a plan! and unfortunately I haven't been to any shows lately... I just had a baby a month ago, so I have been laying low. However, I'm seeing the Bouncing Souls in August (because they're my favourite) and I'm crossing my fingers that Gaslight Anthem will tour for the new album! Annnnnnnnnnd I get to see Rollins in October... what about you? any good shows this summer?

Hey...you have some great taste as well! I am sure we have been to many of the same shows over the years. We'll probably be at a lot more of the same shows in the future too :)
